Parmartha commented on the post, Osho and his Dynamic Meditation, on the site sannyasnews 11 years, 11 months ago
When Osho was Bhagwan, dynamic was big news. I did this meditation for many years off and on, without at all realising it was a blend of techniques that Osho had built from other traditions. The second stage for […]

Good you intend to look at Osho’s death with a penetrating eye Teertha in your next edition of your book. To cover all bases, one has to examine the “official” line which is that Osho died of Thallium poisoning […]

OSHO was a vegetarian, non smoker and non drinker, but I think it is generally aceepted, except by devotees and Alok John that he took an awful lot of nitrous oxide for quite long periods. As Lokesh has pointed […]

I knew a few people who went to the Beedi Baba in Pune one.
Thankfully I was sat in the pin drop silence of Buddha Hall, in a shady place whilst they were sweating in a Bombay tenement.
Guess I had had enough of […] -

Thanks a lot Karima. Very interesting. Maybe this is where Osho got the idea that a Dutchman had translated “I am that”.

In reply to Prem a little earlier! if you want to be cynical, Osho was also living in Bombay in 1973 in a somewhat more middle class apartment in Woodlands.
Just at that point, “Maharaj’s book, “I am That” was […] -

Osho had the whole thing about Maurice Frydman, the translator of Nisargadatta wrong. He was actually a Polish Jew who was a refugee from due to be nazified Poland, and not a Dutchman and arrived in India in the […]

What were the facts about this Share a Home programme?
Sheela one day began to collect homeless from the streets, in the fall of 1984 as I remember. She promised a better life and a warm winter for them. After […] -

There was once a group leader in the early days called Rajen. (I think his legal name was Alan Lowen). He lived in the ashram, and was what they then called an ashramrite. Some thought him a better therapist than […]

read your references, Alok.
See no mention of Osho actually being denied entry to India.

No secret here. Leonard’s “Koan” owed a great deal to his seven year zen incarceration, his being betrayed by his manager whilst in his cave, and those encounters with Ramesh when he emerged in 1999.

There is an error in the argument here Alok. I didn’t trust John and Jayesh. They produced no evidence that Osho had asked that the money be handed over, and I dont think He would have done so.
