To swim in the sea while holding a mobile phone seems foolhardy. I’d think a day at the beach is a perfect opportunity for a little digital detoxing, best to leave the phone at home.

Being negative is easy.
Mankind needs hope. Why should not AIs help to evolve more consciousness?

During the summer, I watched tourists braving the waves while holding their mobile phones above their heads to prevent them from getting damaged by sea water.

Agree, NP, it’d be complete and utter garbage. Artifical food for the soul, akin to synthetic food.
But obsession with this sort of disembodied electronic communication is the way the world is heading. Apart […]

A ‘master AI’…the mind boggles…it seems impossible to me.

Interesting subject.
Yes, some people may feel even unconditional love from their AI companions.
I think we are just at the beginning of the process.
Time will come when Master AIs will be available. -

I came across a German docu about something called ‘companion AI’ this morning. These are chat bots programmed to be good companions to lonely humans. Sometimes they will take on the personas of fictional […]

“The third thing that I want to say to you is: don’t hate anything. Even hate is included, because it makes no difference what the object of hate is; it may be the hate itself. But don’t hate – not simply as a […]

Thanks, SD, it was a good talk, I enjoyed listening to it. It’s great that people like Alan Watts and Terence McKenna left so many recorded talks that you can go on discovering new ones for a long time.

Well, here’s an antidote to all that nonsense, one of the best talks from Alan Watts I’ve had the pleasure to hear, just superb:

You can call it how you want it.
I guess it’s: ‘enjoy yourself!’ -

It seems that over 51% of internet traffic is now bots, and many reviews and videos are turning into self-perpetuating AI slop. Take a look at this Kurzgesagt video explaining what is happening […]

“The whole approach of the upanishad is so totally different… the disciple is available, the master is overflowing, and something transpires. Nobody is doing it. Nobody can take the credit for it; hence, I say […]

‘David Wants To Fly’
Interesting stuff. A nice documentary on those strange and funny mind games when the master has long gone – the main theme here – that we partially also saw happening. But thank God we […]

I’ve started on a new Osho book, ‘The Osho Upanishad’, and thought the opening piece was a bit of grandstanding by Osho. It talked a lot about the mystery school and how it formed around a living master, about […]

I’ve met a couple of nasty spirits in my life, but never an alien as such.
When TM started talking about machine elves etc., people began to see elves when tripping. I have never seen an elf. Some psychedelics […]
