I think it must be very difficult for Pune to deal with Keerti. He is obviously sincere, but I think his mind is still dominated by Hindu conditioning. From all the accounts that I have read, Keerti is creating something like a religion which Osho was against.

The press said NATO ran 20,000 bombing sorties against Libya. Yes twenty thousand. Now Tripoli has black outs and water shortages. This is what happened in Iraq….NATO went for the utilities to weaken to country. Sounds to me like Libya is another war of aggression for oil and mid-east dominance.

Ah yes, but the logical positivist in me says
“How would the world be different if there really was synchronicity.”
“How would the world be different if there was no synchronicity.”
One is tempted to say…..of that which we can say nothing, we should be silent.

Relationship between Israel and Egypt deteriorates…. see http://www.presstv.ir/detail/194806.html http://www.presstv.ir/detail/194803.html How convenient for Israel that NATO is already involved in a campaign in adjacent Libya. How convenient for Israel that Syria is weakened through prob CIA backed opposition. I told you so! Israel and oil are…[Read more]

Well yes, but some of us were not so lucky as to sit at his feet.
For me, as well as for many others I am sure, the words were a gateway to meditation.
I always think people discount the words cos they are scared of what he actually said.

Distribution thru commercial networks is prob best way for pune to reach as many people as possible. If Pune does this, they prob have to be seen to do something against copyright infringement. Commercial distributors will say “Please do something about piracy cos it cuts our profits.”

Jesus, P, have a look at this site http://www.messagefrommasters.com/Ebooks/oshorajneesh.htm and you will see there is an Indian guy who calls himself Osho Rajneesh who has deliberately created a site that confuses his books with Osho’s. What can Poona do but at least try using the law to stop this? And they will need a western [...]

Teertha wrote “Re Osho and the ‘malefic sorcery’ just before his death, what do you think of that whole matter? Some ‘out there’ things have been suggested, including one wild theory that the guy who used to run the Tibetan Pulsing group, Dheeraj, was actually responsible for it. I stumbled upon this article several years [...]

In Papua New Guinea sorcerers, mainly men, are often murdered by members of the public. But the state does sometimes prosecute under the Sorcery Act. For example, in 2006 two brothers were accused of practicing sorcery to cause the death of another man. Lae District Court found there was sufficient evidence including materials and witness [...]

PS Cohn wrote in the 50s and 60s I think. He was in US. He may not have known that the books I mentioned existed.
Also I think it was politically impossible then, as it is now, to say that there really were some women who considered themselves to be witches. -

Teertha, Briefly Re heroin addiction….Is not arrogance a form of stupidity? Re child died of neglect…..this was from a TV documentary…..I am not expert. I am sure you are right about modern Wicca being largely a harmless New Age cult You write : “Prior to the 20th century there is no good evidence that organized [...]

Hi Teertha, I had a look at your chapter on witchcraft. I am afraid I skimmed through it. Your arguments are broadly familiar to me and twenty years ago I would have agreed with you (see how old I am!). You write “That all of them, Witches or non-Witches, were falsely convicted, or at the [...]

Teertha, I apologise for my “anything to make a buck” comment.” Obviously this does not apply to you. Didn’t Gurdjieff once throw Crowley out saying his “energy was dirty.” Actually the existence of Satan and the possibility of Satanism are core Catholic beliefs stemming from the time of the Apostles. Jewish beliefs about Satan are [...]

I really do not think Gurdjieff and Osho should be associated with Crowley.
Crowley was a satanist. One of his children died of neglect. Isn’t that enough to condemn him?
Anything for a buck I suppose!
