I suspect he was doing this […] ViewThere is more than you realise. MI5 collects info about anti-establishment movements just in case they start doing things that are illegal. They like to collect databases of names, info about the people etcetera, in order that they have something to work with if the movement goes ”rogue” so to speak.

He made so many friends there he eventually felt guilty and told the Commune who he was and apologised. This was before the Rajneeshpuram debacle.
