Now, now , Shantam. Shakti told me you were pestering her on Facebook and coming on to her like a frisky lobster. You naughty boy. I’ll bet you were asking for the hairbrush treatment.

Shantam that ‘A boobed women after the Botex!’ as you describe her is my wife and it is all natural. Paramiti, in the old days we used pillows to get our shit out on. Here on SN we use Shantam. He is like one of those weighted dolls that you hit and it simply pops [...]

Is it a coincidence that my wife won the lottery some years after meeting Osho?

An enlightened chap once said that one way to spot the enlightened people is that they are often quiet and don’t say very much. Shantam seems to think that being enlightened entails being famous. It does not. This whole ranking Osho along Buddha and Christ is, in my unenlightened mind, a load of billocks. Osho [...]

The closest Shantam comes to tantra is throwing big tantricums about a lot of things that are of little interest to anyone else on the planet.

Maitreya’s take on Advaita is basically an add placed in the hope of attracting a few customers who are seeking. As far as teachers of meditation go, Maitreya is someone who has done his homework. In sannyas days Baskar was a body worker in the ashram who I worked alongside in Koregaon park. I liked [...]

Alokjohn, no I can’t find the discourse etc. But I do know for ceratin that Osho said this at some point. I think that your special interest in this indicates that you might have or maybe still are signing on or receiving some kind of government-sponsered economic support. Osho’s thoughts on this were probably centred [...]

Paramiti, you say, ‘usually the ones who have “moved on” are bitter.’ That is not my experience….of my self or the others like myself who have ‘moved on’, as you put it. I don’t have judgements about having judgements and therefore I have to say your statement makes little sense to me and it seems [...]

Diane, spot on. The Guru Papers is a fantastic book. I’ve reread it a dozen times and used it as a reference book in my work as a writer. All intelligent sannyasins will derive much from reading it and help put into concise word forms some of the traps and pitfalls involved with hanging out [...]

Wow! Mr Trunks, what was it like watching an Osho vid? Last person I met who’d done that lost the power of speach.
You are obviously a risk-taker. I mean to say, Premal and Mitens’ have caused mass suicides during their performances. Did you use ear plugs when listening to their…erm…ehm…music? -

Well, Mr Trunks, it is true, some of us are reading between the lines and it does not look so good. Shantam managed to get rid of some of the more creative writers and commentators by kicking up a fuss about the need for avatars showing people’s faces. You’ll notice he has a flower for [...]

Just had a friend visiting who has been living in Goa for the last decade. He thinks the Goans are becoming increasingly anti-foreigner and using them as a scapegoat. Taking that in to account it will be interesting to see how Swami Rajneesh’s story progresses.

Shantam says, ‘it is an organisational blunder that such event is not taking place everyday in every city of the world.’ Why? Look at Shantam. A person who thinks he needs to change the world, but is completely unwilling to do anything that might involve changing himself and his stuck attitudes. White robe brotherhood might [...]

CONCEITED: adj. having an exaggerated opinion of oneself or one’s accomplishments. Shantam says, ‘I have been in white robe, evening meeting more than any of you guys all put together, it means months after months.’ Taking this in to account, it does not actually sound like a recommendation for attending white robe brotherhood. Shantam has [...]
