Pune Terrorism: Indian Group Now Suspected

Bhatkal bros emerge as prime suspects

Pune police wait for the chemical analysis reports to establish which group was responsible for Saturday’s bomb blast in Pune However Riyaz Bhatkal and his brother Iqbal Bhatkal, founder-members of the Indian Mujahideen (IM), have emerged as prime suspects.

Sources said the modus operandi of the blast looks the handiwork of IM led by Riyaz Bhatkal, held responsible for at least 11 blasts across India since 2005. The blasts stopped in 2008 when Mumbai crime branch busted the module and arrested its leading members. ‘‘Bhatkal has been masterminding various blasts since 2005. But it was only after the Mumbai police busted the ring that his and Sadiq Shaikh’s names cropped up. Until then, all investigating agencies had been speculating the hand of Lashkar-e-Taiba,’’ said an officer on condition of anonymity. ‘‘The only difference this time is that they have chosen the place frequented by foreigners to make a big impact like 26/11,’’ an ATS source said.

IM has a strong presence in Pune. ‘‘Many of its members who are at large belong to Pune and adjoining villages; as their base, Pune becomes a soft target,’’ said another source. In 2008, when crime branch arrested 21 IM members, the prime accused, Riyaz Bhatkal, his brother Iqbal Bhatkal, and their associates, Mohammed Ali, Amin, Irfan and Abu Rashid remained at large. Among the 21 arrested, most are well educated and from well-off families. Top among them were the computer engineer Mohammed Mansoor Asgar Peerbhoy and MBBS doctor Anwar Bagwan. During interrogations, the accused revealed that all the operations were carried out under Bhatkal, a small time extortionist in Kurla.

Sources said the Bhatkals were born in Bhatkal village in Mangalore, and grew up in Kurla, Mumbai, where they ran a leather-tanning business. In Kurla, they stayed at Pipe Road, a stone’s throw from the place that once housed the banned organisation SIMI’s head office. It was there that the two brothers became strong SIMI members and ran the office until the Maharashtra government sealed it in 2001.

To escape the police, Riyaz came in contact with Naseer Aydeet, a member of the Fazlu Rehman gang. After the fall of the gang, Riyaz and Naseer decided to start their own gang named RN (R for Riyaz and N for Naseer).

Their names cropped up after the 7/11 blasts, but they had already fled Karnataka. While the two brothers are on the run, their family members are underground, police said. It’s learnt they went to UP where they recruited youth from Azamgarh to send them to Pakistan for training. Bhatkals are accused of hatching conspiracies ranging from recruiting youth, training and selecting targets and even supplying RDX.

The same group was responsible for sending e-mails by hacking into WiFi systems in Sanpada, Chembur and Khalsa College, Sion before the Ahmedabad and Delhi blasts.

If you become acquainted with death through love and meditation, by and by you will see that life and death are two aspects of the same coin.

Then you are not worried. Then you don’t choose. Then you live a life of choiceless awareness. Then all is the same.

If you choose life you have chosen death. If you avoid death you will avoid life – so there is no point in choosing, and there is no point in avoiding.

Sometime i wonder what Osho will say about the death and destruction caused by a small group of people representing the second biggest religion of the world.
I think after His departure, Talibanism is one of the few negative words added in world dictionary.

Hot from Mumbai press office All InDia Press>>

‘Number one Rapscallions caught in Police Squeeze.’

Many attentions are being given to all sorts of how’s your fathers to catch these fellows or fellowesses whatever their persuasions.
Night duty clerk Shalimar Bangasanmast has been taken into Police Top Natch Headquarters with custody hearing.costing many lakhs. There he is getting the jolly rum job. And he is coming out with all sorts of innuendos and so forths.

Pune main evil twin brothers crime sons Rog and Josh and sister Meera Paneer are admitting to major sources that they were not on the number one up coach to Darjeeling at the timing of the occurences. In fact they were on number two down coach getting an upshot of who had the wind up. This is all according to latest reportings we are having and you are reading. Unless of course you are having the naughty ribbing of us fellows.

By the time of this hotting off the press and so forth we are proudly announcing:

All police chaps and chapesses are the most dedicated and all worthiness to them to be upstanding in your chit chat.

InDia score tip top in mish mash of a sticky wicket cricket game.

For an Enlightened Master – Osho – Death and Life are the two sides of the same coin, and for Enlightened Masters, it is possible to choose out of choiceless awareness but for a common soul, it is the WILL of the Existence, where simple souls have no choice to choose the body as per their choice. Certainly the NISH-CRUSHT (least of the lowest type of soul) are members of Taliban Group or like-minded forces, actively participating for the devastation of the humanity.

  4. Sunam says:

The terrorism is in your unconscious

Everything is deeply related with everything else that happens.
The event of terrorism is certainly related with what is happening in the society. The society is falling apart. Its old order, discipline, morality, religion, everything has been found to be wrongly based. It has lost its power over people’s conscience.
Terrorism simply symbolizes that to destroy human beings does not matter, that there is nothing in human beings which is indestructible, that it is all matter — and you cannot kill matter, you can only change its form. Once man is taken to be only a combination of matter, and no place is given for a spiritual being inside him, then to kill becomes just play.
The nations are irrelevant because of nuclear weapons. If the whole world can be destroyed together within minutes the alternative can only be that the whole world should be together. Now it cannot remain divided; its division is dangerous, because division can become war any moment. The division cannot be tolerated. Only one war is enough to destroy everything, and there is not much time left for man to understand that we should create a world where the very possibility of war does not exist.
Terrorism has many undercurrents. One is that because of nuclear weapons, the nations are pouring their energy into that field, thinking that the old weapons are out of date. They are out of date, but individuals can start using them. And you cannot use nuclear weapons against individuals — that would be simply stupid. One individual terrorist throws a bomb — it does not justify that a nuclear missile should be sent.
What I want to emphasize is that the nuclear weapon has given individual people a certain freedom to use old weapons, a freedom which was not possible in the old days because the governments were also using the same weapons.
Now the governments are concentrated on destroying the old weapons, throwing them in the ocean, selling them to countries which are poor and cannot afford nuclear weapons. And all those terrorists are coming from these poor countries, with the same weapons that have been sold to their countries. And they have a strange protection: you cannot use nuclear weapons against them, you cannot throw atom bombs at them.
They can throw bombs at you and you are suddenly impotent. You have a vast amount of atomic bombs, nuclear bombs in your hands — but sometimes where a needle is useful, a sword may not be of any use. You may have the sword; that does not mean that you are necessarily in a superior position to the man who has a needle, because there are purposes in which only the needle will work — the sword will not be of any use.
Those small weapons from the old times were piling up, and the big powers had to dispose of them — either drown them in the ocean…. That meant so much money, so much manpower, so much energy had gone to waste; economically it was disastrous. But just to go on piling them up was also economically impossible. How many weapons can you gather? There is a limit. And when you get a new way of killing people more efficiently, then the old simply has to be got rid of.
It was thought that it would be better to sell them to poor countries. Poor countries cannot create nuclear weapons — it costs too much. And these weapons were coming cheap — as help; they accepted it, but these weapons cannot be used in a war. In a war these weapons are already useless. But nobody has seen the possibility that these weapons can be used individually, and a new phenomenon — terrorism — can come out of it.
Now, a terrorist has a strange power, even over the greatest powers. He can throw bombs at the White House without any fear, because what you have is too big and you cannot throw it at him. And these are the weapons sold by you! But the phenomenon was not conceived of, because human psychology is not understood.
My understanding is that the way he has lived, man needs every ten to twelve years — a war. He accumulates so much anger, so much rage, so much violence, that nothing short of a war will give him release. So, war after war, there is a gap of only ten to fifteen years. That gap is a kind of relaxation. But again you start accumulating, because the same psychology is working — the same jealousy, the same violence.
And man is basically a hunter; he is not by nature vegetarian. First he became a hunter, and for thousands of years he was just a meat-eater, and cannibalism was prevalent everywhere. To eat human beings caught from the opposing tribe you were fighting with was perfectly ethical. All that is carried in the unconscious of humanity.
Religions have imposed things on man very superficially; his unconscious is not in agreement. Every man is living in a disagreement with himself. So whenever he can find a chance — for a beautiful cause; freedom, democracy, socialism — any beautiful word can become an umbrella to hide his ugly unconscious, which simply wants to destroy and enjoys destruction.
Now the world war has become almost impossible; otherwise there would have been no terrorism. Enough time has passed since the second world war; the third world war should have happened nearabout 1960. It has not happened. This has been the routine for the whole of history, and man is programmed for it.
It has been observed by psychologists that in wartime people are more happy than in peacetime. In wartime their life has a thrill; in peacetime they look bored. In wartime, early in the morning they are searching for the newspaper, listening to the radio. Things may be happening far away, but they are excited. Something in them feels an affinity.
A war that should have happened somewhere between 1955 and 1960 has not happened, and man is burdened with the desire to kill, with the desire to destroy. It is just that he wants good names for it.
Terrorism is going to become bigger and bigger, because the third world war is almost impossible. And the stupid politicians have no other alternative. Terrorism simply means that what was being done on a social scale now has to be done individually. It will grow. It can only be prevented if we change the very base of human understanding — which is a Himalayan task; more so because these same people whom you want to change will fight you; they won’t allow you to change them easily.
In fact they love bloodshed; they don’t have the courage to say so. In one of the existentialist’s novels, there is a beautiful incident which can almost be said to be true. A man is presented before the court because he has killed a stranger who was sitting on the beach. He had never seen the stranger. He did not kill him for money. He does not yet know how that man looked, because he killed him from the back, just with a big knife.
They had never met — there was no question of enmity. They were not even familiar; they had not even seen each other’s faces.
The magistrate could not figure it out, and he asked the murderer, “Why did you do it?”
He said, “When I stabbed that man with a knife, and a fountain of blood came out of his back, that was one of the most beautiful moments I have ever known. I know that the price will be my death, but I am ready to pay for it; it was worth it. My whole life I have lived in boredom — no excitement, no adventure. Finally I had to decide to do something. And this act has made me world famous; my picture is in every newspaper. And I am perfectly happy that I did it.”
There was no need for any evidence. The man was not denying — on the contrary, he was glorifying it. But the court has its own routine way — witnesses still have to be produced; just his word cannot be accepted. He may have be lying, he may not have killed the man. Nobody saw him — there was not a single eyewitness — so circumstantial evidences had to be presented by the police.
One of them was that possibly this man has killed according to his past life and his background. When he was young, his mother died. And when he heard that his mother had died, he said, “Shit! That woman will not leave me even while dying! It is Sunday, and I have booked tickets for the theater with my girlfriend. But I knew she would do something to destroy my whole day — and she has destroyed it.”
His mother has died and he is saying that she has destroyed his Sunday! He was going to the theater with his girlfriend, and now he has to go to the funeral. And the people who heard his reaction were shocked. They said, “This is not right, what are you saying?”
He said, “What? What is right and what is wrong? Couldn’t she die on any other day? There are seven days in the week — from Monday to Saturday, she could have died any day. But you don’t know my mother — I know her. She is a bitch! She did it on purpose.”
The second evidence was that he attended the funeral, and in the evening he was found dancing with his girlfriend in a disco. And somebody asked, “What! What are you doing? Your mother has just died.”
He said, “So what? Do you mean now I can never dance again? My mother is never going to be alive, she will remain dead; so what does it matter whether I dance after six hours, eight hours, eight months, eight years? What does it matter? — she is dead. And I have to dance and I have to live and I have to love, in spite of her death. If everybody stopped living with the death of their mother, with the death of their father, then there would be no dance in the world, no song in the world.”
His logic is very right. He is saying, “Where do you draw the demarcation line? After how many hours can I dance? — twelve hours, fourteen hours, six weeks? Where will you draw the line? on what grounds? What is the criterion? So it doesn’t matter. One thing is certain: whenever I dance I will be dancing after the death of my mother, so I decided to dance today. Why wait for tomorrow?”
Such circumstantial evidences are presented to the court — that this man is strange, he can do such an act. But if you look closely at this poor man, you will not feel angry at him; you will feel very compassionate. Now, it is not his fault that his mother has died; and anyway, he has to dance some day, so it makes no difference. You cannot blame this man for saying ugly things: “She deliberately died on Sunday to spoil my joy,” because his whole experience of life must have been that she was again and again spoiling any possibility of joy. This was the last conclusion: “Even in death she will not leave me.”
And you cannot condemn the man for killing a stranger… because he is not a thief; he did not take anything from him. He is not an enemy; he did not even see who was the man he was killing. He was simply bored with life and he wanted to do something that made him feel significant, important. He is happy that all the newspapers have his photo. If they had published his photo before, he would not have killed; but they waited — until he kills they will not publish his photo. And he wanted to be a celebrity… just ordinary human desires.
And he was ready to pay with his life to become, at least for one day, known to the whole world, recognized by everybody. Until we change the basic grounds of humanity, terrorism is going to become more and more a normal, everyday affair. It will happen in the airplanes, it will happen in the buses. It will start happening in the cars. It will start happening to strangers. Somebody will suddenly come and shoot you — not that you have done anything to him, but just, the hunter is back.
The hunter was satisfied in the war. Now the war has stopped and perhaps there is no possibility for it.
The hunter is back; now we cannot fight collectively. Each individual has to do something to release his own steam.
Things are interconnected. The first thing that has to be changed is that man should be made more rejoicing — which all the religions have killed. The real criminals are not caught. These are the victims, the terrorists and other criminals.
It is all the religions who are the real criminals, because they have destroyed all possibilities of rejoicing. They have destroyed the possibility of enjoying small things of life; they have condemned everything that nature provides you to make you happy, to make you feel excited, feel pleasant.
They have taken everything away; and if they have not been able to take a few things away because they are so ingrained in your biology — like sex — they have at least been able to poison them.
Friedrich Nietzsche, according to me, is one of the greatest seers of the Western world; his eyes really go penetrating to the very root of a problem. But because others could not see it — their eyes were not so penetrating, nor was their intelligence so sharp — the man lived alone, abandoned, isolated, unloved, unrespected.
He says in one of his statements that man has been taught by religions to condemn sex, to renounce sex. Religion has not been able to manage it; and man has tried hard but has failed, because it is so deeply rooted in his biology — it constitutes his whole body. He is born out of sex — how can he get rid of it except by committing suicide?
So man has tried, and religions have helped him to get rid of it — thousands of disciplines and strategies have been used. The total result is that sex is there, but poisoned. That word poisoned is a tremendous insight. Religions have not been able to take it away, but they have been certainly successful in poisoning it.
And the same is the situation about other things: religions are condemning your living in comfort. Now, a man who is living in comfort and luxury cannot become a terrorist. Religions have condemned riches, praised poverty; now, a man who is rich cannot be a terrorist. Only the “blessed ones” who are poor can be terrorists — because they have nothing to lose, and they are boiling up against the whole of society because others have things they don’t have.
Religions have been trying to console them. But then came communism — a materialist religion — which provoked people and said to them, “Your old religions are all opium to the people, and it is not because of your evil actions in this life or in past lives that you are suffering poverty. It is because of the evil exploitation of the bourgeois, the super-rich that you are suffering.”
The last sentence in Karl Marx’s COMMUNIST MANIFESTO is: Proletariats of the whole world unite; you have nothing to lose and you have the whole world to gain.
“You are already poor, hungry, naked — so what can you lose? Your death will not make you more miserable than your life is making you. So why not take a chance and destroy those people who have taken everything away from you. And take those things back, distribute them.”
What religions have somehow been consoling people with — although it was wrong and it was cunning and it was a lie, but it kept people in a state of being half asleep — communism suddenly made them aware of. That means this world is now never going to be peaceful if we don’t withdraw all the rotten ideas that have been implanted in man.
The first are the religions — their values should be removed so that man can smile again, can laugh again, can rejoice again, can be natural again.
Second, what communism is saying has to be put clearly before the people — that it is psychologically wrong. You are falling from one trap into another. No two men are equal; hence the idea of equality is nonsense. And if you decide to be equal then you have to accept a dictatorship of the proletariat. That means you have to lose your freedom.
First the church took away your freedom, the God took away your freedom. Now communism replaces your church, and it will take away your freedom.
And without freedom you cannot rejoice.
You live in fear, not in joy. If we can clean the basement of the human mind’s unconscious… and that’s what my work is. It can be cleaned away.
The terrorism is not in the bombs, in your hands; the terrorism is in your unconscious.
Otherwise, this state of affairs is going to grow more bitter. And it seems all kinds of blind people have bombs in their hands and are throwing them at random.
The third world war would have released people for ten or, fifteen years. But the third world war cannot happen because if it happens it won’t relieve people, it will only destroy people.
So individual violence will increase — it is increasing. And all your governments and all your religions will go on perpetuating the old strategies without understanding the new situation.
The new situation is that every human being needs to go through therapies, needs to understand his unconscious intentions, needs to go through meditations so that he can calm down, become cool — and look towards the world with a new perspective, of silence.

Beware of 24th July folks, stay indoors, stay in bed; terrorists around the world are trying to be the first for an outrage on that date. 24/7. There very competative you know, like train spotters with avengence, they are collecting dates and this one is up there! Don’t say you were’nt warned!

India, February 18th, 2010 / IndiaPRLine / — US President Barack Obama called the Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh earlier this morning to condemn the blast that took place in Pune on Saturday and to condole the loss of lives. In a brief conversation, the two leaders took the opportunity to review developments in Indo-US relations.

  7. Punam says:

Chinmaya, seriously for a moment, do you really believe in this class system of souls? Isn’t that just another way of demonising groups like you have done there. A murderer is a murderer and thats what happened at German Bakery – murder! And even a murderer’s ‘soul’ is redeemable. Take Angulimala for example, most devoted disciple of Gautama the Buddha was once a serial killer! As much as i would like to placate my fear of ‘evil’ with a system of higher and lower souls I cannot. Besides i may well find myself in the low group!

  8. frank says:

a hierarchical caste system of souls strung together, with some muslims at the bottom?
    well,theres a surprise!
hindu-style bigoted parrots trying to pass themselves off as spritually knowledgable with self-justificatory mumbo-jumbo?

just another day in the most spiritual country in the world,
if you`re not one of the 650 million members of the religiously ordaied shit-scraping caste, that is…

the difference with Mr Osh is that he did call people criminal fascists..usually looking at the power roles of those who run the place..AND… he didnt hate them…. whereas when we call someone that …’we’ usually do…..the results tend to be very different

and evil (morallly loaded emotion) doesn’t come into it…. its really consciousness(elemental) though as animals we tend to float in and out of whats useful for survival (genetics) that clouds our vision of whats inherent (love) which we can access through our emotions, sex and endless cups of tea.(life) whilst watching television ( death)….and whilst watching your ass without self blame and with humility to all living beings (compassion).
.Case closed , elementary my dear watson…

Sannyasnews says of the lead article,

“assembled by sannyas news from Indian Reports”

Indian Reports? That’s rather vague, isn’t it?
looks to me like a copy & paste job enmasse, cobbled together from online news articles, which are in turn Police Blotter pieces, all smokey as hell as to where they originated from. A tip for y’all: anytime you read a statement sourced from some “official” who is giving the info “on the condition of anonymity” you can bet the house that it’s a pre-packaged PR kit from the Police/Government/NewsAgency. A no-brainer.

I’ll guess sannyasins did not swallow these news reports so easily when Osho and his movement were the targets of them, not the “terrorists”…

frank, looking at that Mahadevi blog, My Osho, My Sannyas, I am getting the distinct feeling in my guts that the real generator of this whole thing is the German guy Sw. Michael Vedam. Mahadevi is simply some girl whose photo is being used for front-imaging purposes. He writes the script, and controls the operation — she smiles, looks pretty, and catches everyone’s attention.

    on to the comics…

here’s something you oshoites who grew up on Tintin might find interesting…

I was able to browse through a book yesterday, a collection of cartoonist Herge’s Tintin series, put together by a guy, M. Farr, and just recently published since 2000. Well, he includes a lot of the photos that Herge used for his cartoon frames, many taken out of National Geographic mags, and other reference photos, comparing them to the tintin illustrations. He met Herge , who must have given him the material shortly before Herge’s death in 1983.

So, lo and behold, the last page of the book has a color photo captioned “Bhagwan, surrounded by his followers”! It is actually a photo of Sw. Teertha giving sannyas in a ceremony, looks to be at the Ranch, c. 1983. And some Herge rough sketches based on it.

The page goes on to explain Herge’s last book on tintin, unfinished at the time of his death, called i think, Tintin and the Alpha-Art. Dealing with new age gurus, frauds, the modern-art world, etc. His “villian’ in the book is not Osho, but based on some real French art swindler…anyway, just goes to show Osho infiltrated the minds of many, some yet to be discovered i guess…

What struck me more than anything in the whole Farr book is the China connection of Herge…tintin in china, the character Chong, based on his real Chinese friend, who counseled Herge on not perpetuating time-worn Western prejudices on China in his books — The Blue Lotus, and Tintin in Tibet…we’ll have to wait til later this year when the Spielberg movie is due out on Tintin, and keeping in mind the whole “circus” atmosphere of this rollicking and rolling drama, we will see Andrew “Serkis” as Captain Haddock, I believe…

  11. Punam says:

The case is not closed till you’ve received the cheque (truth) Holmes!

How else are we going to pay for the opium (bliss)?!

  12. prem martyn says:

oshobob..how fascinating and synchronistic ..nice research there and coincidence. Well more on TinTin ..(whose thread here is getting wonderfuller by the minute though i never started it !)
.so i just happened to spend my teenage school life in the company of Herge’s biographer as one of my school buddies in the theatre department….
and his book is available on Amazon.I myself have not yet read the book..
Tintin: Herge and his Creation (Hardcover)
    by Harry Thompson (Author)

Sadly Harry passed on 3 years back. Though he is credited as being the mastermind behind many of the most famous British comedy series of recent years including initiating Sacha Baron Cohen’s rise to fame as Ali G.

The words ‘trumpet’ and ‘blowin my own’ come to mind ….(but you may well enjoy reading it despite or because of this)…as one thing I know about Harry was his thorough attention to detail. It is also well reviewed.

Thanks to Prem jeevan(jeevan@osho.net), who circulates some of the best humour-

“Goldie Cohen, an elderly Jewish lady from New York,
goes to her travel agent. “I vont to go to India.”

“Mrs. Cohen, why India? It’s filthy, much hotter than
New York, it’s full of poor, dirty people.”

“I vont to go to India.”

“But it’s a long journey, and those trains, how will you
manage? What will you eat? The food is too hot and
spicy for you. You can’t drink the water. You must not
eat fresh fruit and vegetables. You’ll get sick: the plague,
hepatitis, cholera, typhoid, malaria, God only knows.
What will you do? Can you imagine the hospital, no
    Jewish doctors? Why torture yourself?”

“I vont to go to India.”

The necessary arrangements are made, and off she
goes. She arrives in India and, undeterred by the noise,
smell and crowds, makes her way to an ashram. There
she joins the seemingly never-ending line of people
waiting for an audience with the guru. An aide tells her
that it will take at least three days of standing in line to
    see the guru.

    “Dotz OK.”…she says.

Eventually she reaches the hallowed portals. There she
is told firmly that due to the long lines she can only say
    SEVEN words to the guru.

She is ushered into the inner sanctum where the guru is
seated, ready to bestow spiritual blessings upon his eager
initiates. Just before she reaches the holy of holiest she is
    once again reminded:

    “Remember, just SEVEN words.”

Unlike the other devotees, she does not prostrate at his
feet. She stands directly in front of him, crosses her arms
over her chest, fixes her gaze on his, and says: …

“Sheldon, I’m your mother. Come home…NOW!”

Filthy, dirty and full with caste system, still people with full belly and brain from west hang out in India for years.
Is it a longing from past life?

    but that was the past.
there`s still a few desperados hanging in there, but they are well past their sell-by date…..

and if the resort gets turned into the
” osho 11th avatar of vishnu neo-hindu govt approved ashram”
and all the westerners booted out,it really wouldnt surprise me at all.
    its been coming.

  18. oshobob says:

yes, good joke, very good joke…!
that was from shantam and jeevan, frank…

right, a lot of weird stuff goin’ down of late,
    makes a man wonder….

  19. Fresch says:

    Hi there and here,

    I have been missing you…

Shantam prem, I still want to apology to you being reactive (too violent) about mahadevi’s book (I thought you are her ghost writer). I have been having my own illusion how to juice sanyas up with not creating any new places, but EVERYBODY co-operating in some new way. You have right to your own illusion. Thanks for the jokes.

Oshobob and Frank, yess, you are right it looks like this guy Michael is writing ”her” books. He looks friendly in the picture, a bit not in his power…so, even he means well, it is true he is on dangerous trip with her for his own sake. To claim enlightenment is a serious game, the path back can be very hurtful.
Also, even I start to understand sanyas is not a social happening, we are not a group, but some wired individuals bursting everywhere in the world creating what ever…

Punam, I still do not agree that we would be TOO negative here. It is good and healthy to let some steam out once in while about osho, sanyas and resort etc., so that we will not end up resentful and negative in other ways or some self-denial cult group. Even prem martyn or bubble seems to lighten up recently:)

Anand, you should just start to organize your festival with Haridevi, just go for it. It sounds like a plan.

Shortly for Abhaya. If Indians get to fulfil their dream to take over the Resort you will not get any more western tramps in their bikinis at the pool, but Indians swimming in the pool in their robes, wives sitting beside, no more dating with western tramps, and no more parties or bar in the Ashram…:) You will get Samadhi temple crowded with men kneeling on the floor, you will get your own priests sitting on the podium in the Evening meditations telling you all kind of wisdom of chakras and interpretations of God Osho for huge Indian audience. It starts to close to Frank’s picture of osho avatar neo-hindu-ashram..I like that description frank.

So, we still have not figured it out. the master plan for sanyas. What would it be?

Where is Kranti and Chetna? What about some new people. Can you Punam invite your friends here for some assertive, but constructive and creative, loving chit chat.

  20. Fresch says:

By the way what is the reason for the Resort not giving ANY comments about the blast? It is odd. I do not feel very safe about hte resort at the moment.

  21. shantam prem says:

Fresch, you are not Shanti, the Ma from Barcelona, as once Anand was pointing?

PS-it is just an innocent enquiry, nothing to with hormonal flirtation!

And also it is just your 18th century fantasy that If Indian take over the ashram it will become one of the hindu ashram, and the image about the Indian women, ask Marlboro and Veet”, how rapidily their business is expanding in India.

Nobody should take over 17, Koregaon Park. Let it bloom like a valley of flowers rather than Rose garden or a Lotus Pond.

  22. shantam prem says:

If resort is not giving the statement condemning terrorist act at least Chaitanya Keerti on behalf of his present organisation “Osho world” can issue the statement. He is expert in this art.
But who knows, may be their is some cooperation growing between the olive branches, for that it is not appropriate for Delhi to interfere into the internal matters of Pune.

  23. prem martyn says:

The Humaniversity (Egmond an Zee) is famous for all kinds of spiritual insight.
They put up a sign in the kitchen once for most of the week it stayed as i remember…it read quite simply

‘Stick your feelings up your arse’

I also payed for the privilege of gaining this experience.
Which I think was rather priceless compared to what you can buy nowadays.Path of Love hah hah noooo…..Path of Stick it where the Sun dont shine

Veeresh is great for anyone with conspiracy power issues. He says you are perfectly right his is
an authoritarian top down commune…and ?????

A place where not only u can stick it up ur arse but also where u can stick it up someone elses.
Osho and Veeresh what a team !!!
For details please dont ask in Pune on the alternatives to Pune. Go find….There are hundreds ,or are u addicted to real estate?

  24. prem martyn says:

I want the sannyas news, Culture Supplement and Sports section back …anyone think Mozart really was poisoned by Salieri please comment.

  25. Fresch says:

I am not sure if I should share this or not, but I will do it any way. Namely, I am almost sure I met this David Headley at German bakery last year. I looked his picture after the blast and after some days I started to remember talking to a guy who looks exactly like him a last year in the beginning of March I think. He was with a small dark hair woman and they both had some maroon on, but I never saw them in the Resort. He started to talk with me about some spiritual stuff.

First I did talk with him, but he sounded he was in his mind with complicating spiritual views and a bit angry, so I felt I do not need to listen to that in Pune (negative mind grap). But I did see him talking to several other sanyasins as well. I thought he was one of these people who come around sanyasins with their mind stuff, but never get them selves to try any meditations.

Did i talked with a terrorist? Sounds wild. However, I still think it might have been some one else or I am dreaming the whole short event. German bakery did have dark energies, this year I did not want to sit down there any more. What can i learn form this? It is better to avoid people with dark energy. There is nothing to gain or nothing to share with them any way.

Even if the Resort recovers this, there will not be any hanging around outside of the Resort any more.

ps. Shantam: Veet’s business will grow in India, no doubt about that. But will HE grow is an other question. He might get very hurt in the end and alone. We have to take our own responsibility for personal growth, no need for more saviours.

And let’s hope this horrible event will get Delhi and the resort more connected. We are all needed. Yess? Even prem Martyn with his extensive experience and insights. Do you have your own signs? What would they be?

  26. Fresch says:

About this guy, I remember wondering why he was wearing maroon (not a robe), since he was clearly very negative, even aggressive about Osho. I am so used to normal people being negative with osho , so I did not pay more attention to him. Is there anybody else who would remember this guy?

  27. prem martyn says:

GET INVOLVED and JOIN Up the dots yourself with some useful campaigning/alerting/manifesting/celebrating.. making pining for truth and ur positive energy useful to someone else as well as you. Do u Have a radical Guru ….then be informed and act in any way u can to discover more ways to affect ur world.and luckily u can also do that with non attachment to the result, its just that u are compelled to…choicelessly !

(The campaign for using laughing gas in soft foam ‘missiles’ surely needs more support as a weapon of mass convulsion ….Osho liked the gas and why not?)

  28. prem martyn says:

and yes Uzbekistans oil and gas reserves are implicitly involved in the current regional insanity in Afghanistan.

which means now opening ur heart to the mystery may only be a part of the story…unless u like to live in disneyland….osho didnt get killed for telling us how lovely roses are.

  29. prem martyn says:

short snappy 20 second video if u prefer graphics to words

  30. Prem Jashan says:

Some people seems to be backing the muslim world by high lighting the incidents of attack/repression by the west. But they seem to be forgetting the history. Except Sufiism , rest all Islam is spread by sword and terror for centuries. In the last century alone they killed millions of Hindus in Bangladesh and Hindu Kush ( Hindu Killer) mountains in Pakisthan/Afghanisthan. So don’t try to sell your ideas to Indians at least. India has always been a victim and also Israel.

You can get whole account of atrocities done by Islam at the following link.

But I do not recommend we mediators to spend time on reading all that. But if you understand that a minority but very fundamental sect ( and THE BOOK beleivers ) controls the majority of muslims, that would be enough. I know many Pakisthani’s who are very nice, but nice people have no control on the country.

The IMPORTANT thing is that every one should speak unitedly against the terrorists and who supports them ( those people who protested against Danish cartoons, why not they talk against terrorism and incidents like Pune).

Whole world ( may be not be some Governments under American pressure) was unitedly against Regan administration on arresting Osho, thats why we have Pune two at least. Otherwise who knows, what they would have done to Osho when he was in jail.

  31. prem martyn says:

    so what can you do?
Paul Lowe (TEERTHA oshos chief asram fluzy/disciple in the 70′s and 80′s) is Stings ‘spiritual adviser.’ He, Paul Lowe suffered a likely nervous breakdown in the ’90s saying he had arrived from another planet. If u would like to send Sting your opinion of supporting dictators contact Paul Lowe, to share your truth and contact Sting.

    thats really it for now.

  32. Lokesh says:

In response to Shanyam Prem’s Osho quoye: . Then you live a life of choiceless awareness.
    Yeah right.
In a discussion about a terrorist attack where people have lost their lives and loved ones, such quoyes hardly come across as appropriate. It is all very well talking about choiceless awareness when you have a choice. If one day you find yourself missing a limb or perhaps your sight I doubt you’d talk so easily about choiceless awareness.
This kind of twaddle is all too common in spiritual circles where people parrot the master’s words as if they were their own.
Whatever happened to the language of the heart ?

  33. amano says:

lokesh, you sure misunderstand shantams comment.
please do not try to connect german backery with other comments……..we all osho lovers are sad and sorry for what happened there in pune …….it is time to heal each other and not attack each other vai this website
love to you and enjoy every moment of life

  34. oshobob says:

Who are these “Bhatkal brothers”? I know the Hills Bros. from their coffee, and the Blues Brothers from Saturday Night Live long ago, but John Beluschi hit the ashtray long ago, and even Hills Bros. has taken the Sufi mystic in his yellow robe off their coffee cans for some reason. Let’s get some photos of the Bhaktal brothers, don’t you think Shantam, it would be the right thing to do….?

  35. frank says:

bhaktal brothers have absconded from their native place and are said to be out of station pending the appropriate action of special branch sleuths who are waiting for their names to crop up.
the miscreants, whose good name is not known availed themselves of some hooch from some other backward classes said to be roadside romeos indulging in eve-teasing and ragging of the inmates of osho ashram.
superintendent balveer badmash, hypothecated to the IPS HQ has said that a lathi charge cannot be ruled out.
    horn ok please.

  36. amano says:

osho bob and frank, it would be nice sometimes if you read your comments before posting . you are doing nothing but vomitting.i hope one day you will learn how to think positive and how to respect osho and his lovers. i not only hope i am sure someday you will see that , but it is better do not waste time and write something meaning ful and something which we do not know yet. I believe this website is still clean and nice , but i am affraid too many negative comments will be reason that this site may close sooner or later like other websites. please keep it clean this website and hold the garbage and release somewhere else , try to treat this website like home .

  37. prem bubbie says:

I thought they were The Isley Brothers(Love Train) or where they the Ghetto Bros? The Brothers Johnson? Or Rajneesh Brothers(Swami & Bhagwan) Brother Karazamov? Bush Brothers- George Jr. and Jeb? The Duck Brothers-Daffy and Donald? The Smothers Brothers, that’s what sannyasins need some comedy infused into the group!!! Does it really matter who the fuck these brothers are? If you want to investigate further, hire Sherlock Holmes!! Even a dead, fictitious detective can do a better job than you clowns!!!

  38. prem bubbie says:

My home IS a hazardous waste dump site!!!! Right next to the resort!!!!

  39. martyn says:

    ive been censored.

  40. Lokesh says:

Does it really matter who the fuck these brothers are?
Well….obviously not to you, Prem Bubbie, as you make it all too clear that all you are really interested in is giving voice to your very limited perspective on life. Perhaps, if you can break out of your mental prison for a moment, you might consider that people who are related to the victims of this senseless attack will be very interested to know who the perpetrators were. So…in answer to your dumb question…it matters very much.
Try a little dignity. It might expand your horizons.

  41. prem bubbie says:

Lokesh, give your typical sannyas “trip” a rest… it’s old and doesn’t carry any weight anymore… anyone with some intelligence… you obviously forgot Osho’s and Buddha’s teachings…. You sound like a born again christian to me anyway.. the bombing victims are dead and buried(burned)… time to move on… save your morals for sunday mass

  42. prem bubbie says:

being a bleeding heart lokesh, often means not dealing with reality. most of the time in fact, it causes more trouble and leads to needless bullshit, sounds like you need a hard lesson in reality. Stop hiding in your bleeding heart and live the REAL life.

  43. Lokesh says:

Prem Bubbie, your comments to my post only serve to show what a shallow person you are.

  44. prem bubbie says:

    Then Real Life Is Shallow!!!

  45. prem bubbie says:

If you were a farmer lokesh, you’d probably starve!!! Life is very much like farming… use all the skills you have and you might prosper…the heart is only good for trying to seduce a woman and the morning after!!!

  46. Lokesh says:

Prem Bubbie. You are simply missing the point. As I’ve said already, it is obvious that you are a bit of a superficial person and your further comments serve only to add creedence to the fact. I’ve nothing more to say on the matter other than to add that people like yourself are always in need of an emotional reaction, no matter how they go about getting that reaction. You do this because it makes you feel like you are real, that you exist, that you have substance, when in fact you do not, or why else would you be doing what you are doing?

  47. prem bubbie says:

Why are you doing your “thing”, Lokesh? Are you a”christian” type- looking to score points with your fake compassion? Trying to rack up “Karmic” points with the almighty? You have no idea the person I am, that’s obvious, yet now I wonder about you, I know it’s a waste of time to do so, but all of that “preaching” about bleeding heart way of living makes me think about others who have lived that approach, all were failures, all traveled a dead end road. Yet you, foolishly or otherwise decided to live that failed way of life, NOT learning from Big mistakes made, the stupid mistakes that anyone with a clear head and common sense can see a mile away… Your time not mine… chase your tail anyway you like, and yes you do what you do, “because it makes you feel like you are real, that you exist, that you have substance…” How do like them apples? Keep meditating, you might just get it some day, then maybe not, just talk with Anand, he’ll tell you otherwise… Boy, what dopes some of you are!!!!

  48. Anand says:

Hey Fartbrain Bubbie, the biggest dope of all is you.

  49. prem bubbie says:

Hey Anand , Out for a little sunshine, aren’t we? Better hurry back your rock is getting cold!!!!

  50. Anand says:

why don’T you visit me in Florida? They sell the Oregonian near me….

  51. prem bubbie says:

there will be many mosquitoes sucking my blood in Florida, I don’t need another one.
