84 year old banned from the Pune Resort!

Samvado is banned from Osho Resort for being too friendly

Samvado writes:
I am banned as of tomorrow.  I am moving out to an apartment in Pune.

No more Osho Resort for me for the time being.

So I will be out in the world for the next six months looking for a home.
Existence only knows where that will be.

I am still in a state of shock after more than 35 years here and making large contributions for my room inside of the Resort.  I am now 84 and I came here for Osho and expected to stay until I left my body.  Change is always happening.

I cannot believe this is really happening to me.  I have so many friends around the world who keep encouraging me to be the same guy as they like the way I live my life.   But I guess there are always people who are against my life style.

Will see you somewhere in the world, maybe.

Love and hugs and kisses to all

What a shame you are banned..wish you the very best further in life!

    • swami rajneesh says:

      message for OIF :
those who control and dominate others
and create thousands of rules and regulations
      and demand obedience
and enforce their ridged fanatical views by force
      or threaten by banning
are blackmailers are the real fanatics and exploiters of OSHO

banning is the lowest form of ugly emotional blackmail…
to use power over others and punish those who do not obey…
and to control through fear !!

the list of banning grows endlessly…
      milerapa…prem joshua…mitan & premal…dhyanam…giten…harideva…
      chaitanya keerti…ma shola…now samvado…
the sensitive devotees and lovers…creative artist and musicians…
the rebellious spirit is being destroyed…
and forcefully replaced with obedient slaves…and yes men…

time for the OIF coffin to be finally laid to rest…
      and the fat lady sings…

        Hey Rajneesh,
still copying Osho?? I love that you are standing up against all the powerpolitics and misuse of power. But to claim that you have inherited the astral body of your master is and to copy him already for more than 20 years is where i cannot understand you…giving sannyas to friends of Osho with your photo on one side and Osho his photo on the other side?? What kind of trip are you on?..i wish you well and get better soon
        Love

      • Bhole says:

Mr Rajneesh…You know what this old Sam was doing in Reosrt…whole day PUSSY…PUSSY…PUSSY…few years back I my self seen him from stage he was shouting ….all 16-17 years pussy come to me…come to me….once in Plaza when girl ask what you want…he said ..” I want Indian masala pussy…”…when ever he has seen indian girl…he think he can buy her…i never seen such ugly guy around resort…at least this age…so pls if you dont know fact dont speak…and if you want to know more….when you come poona…call me, will tell you true insidence…..that if still you think sam is not wrong…

        • swami rajneesh says:

if sexual harassment is the excuse of OIF management to ban him…
then the list of excessive sexual harassment cases
against OIF management inner circle amrito and yogendra are well known
and even registered police cases of attempted rape and forceful violence against young girls in the resort
let these cases also be exposed for all to see what legacy of our master
they are protecting and sharing…to the innocent newcomers…

should amrito and yogendra also not be banned ??

          • satyadeva says:

Swami Rajneesh, as I’ve said here before, a degree (or more) of “sexual harrassment” was always a feature of Osho’s ashram, during and after his life. Unfortunately, that’s also part of his sexual “legacy”, that gives licence for all sorts of dubious behaviour under the banner of ‘absolute sexual freedom’.

If you don’t realise that then you really must be “blind and gullible”, like, as you recently said here, “all enlightened people”.

But you have a specific agenda so of course you choose to seize upon anything that could discredit the Resort powers-that-be, while conveniently ignoring the wider context, both present and past. Which is not to excuse anything, just to point out where you’re actually coming from: a transparently ‘political’ motivation.

          • Bhole says:

Ok…Great fraud Mr. Rajaneehs, can you see what you are doing….how many time Osho said never imitate any one? but I know there is no point to talk on such issues…person like you are very claver…now Sam, if others are doin sexual harassment, Sam can also do….? wow…what a great person you are…sorry Mr. Rajanessh first see your own bullshit…who ever imitate Osho….he is killing Osho’s soul…

    • Bhole says:

Sam years back this man should banned…I dont think any other man could stay so long after many many complaints….

  2. shantam prem says:

    And Now?
There must be the reasons. Even summary trials are based on some sound jurisprudence!
Samvado can tell the whole story, when any way judgement is now in public domain!

    • Prem Vedant says:

      yes my beloved friend!
I have been watching this guy,84 years old, in OIMR for years and years…. most of the time his behaviour is so polished and disgusting!! many times woman had complain about this rotten guy!
I wonder why it took so long for the management to put him out!
it’s so ugly to here his version..” I am 84 now… and others want me to behave this way ( he doesn’t know how to behave?)..I have contributed to my room!! ( so.. you got more than you paid so far old man!!)

      • Jivan Abhiram says:

I felt disgusted by his post, when I found out the truth of his banning. Hugh Hefner also 84 of playboy mag. can get away with it but he is a gentleman, not someone who should have matured 60 years ago.

        • swami satyam dhyanraj says:

well abhiram who told you the “truth” about sams banning ?
sam’s been victimised by a black smear and false allegation by one of his girlfriends a canadian therapist who got jealous seeing him with his other girlfrend and tried to injure him with a beer bottle and glass on the head
and resort managers were only too happy to accept her lying complaint as they were looking for an excuse to get rid of him

we all know osho resort is run by manipulating power freaks who falsely claim to own osho and attack sannyasins worldwide who share osho, why would they be believed in this ? its easy to throw mud on an old man even though untrue and some like to believe the agressor and condemn the victim – sam

          • satyadeva says:

But it’s your word against others’, Dhyan Raj. At such a distance, how can anyone possibly know all the details?

And frankly, why should any neutral necessarily trust ‘your’ version rather than another’s? How can anyone be certain Swami Rajneesh and/or his ‘Poona inside informant’ aren’t making it up, or embellishing this story, to suit their own purposes? This almost certainly sounds like ‘sacrilege’ to you, of course, but it would, wouldn’t it, as you’re ‘biased’?

Does Sam have plenty of ‘previous’? Seems he does – even Swami R implies as much: “Whatever his sexual advances….”

Although one has to agree it sounds as if this was handled in a particularly clumsy way by the powers-that-be.

Best to suspend judgment until all the facts are properly known.

            • swami satyam dhyanraj says:

yes – if you dont know – be neutral – some who dont know are ready to believe the smear put on sam by this woman and the resort management and join in the unjust condemnation – that hooray throw an old man out of his home of 35 years he deserves it because someone said so !!

          • Bhole says:

Dear friend…you just ask any Indian girl and you will know what this Sam was doing in resort…speacialy out side indian girl, because in India we have great repsect for old man…he used to …now I cant write….never seen any sick person like this old goat….

            • bodhi vartan says:

              Bhole says:
Dear friend…you just ask any Indian girl and you will know what this Sam was doing in resort…speacialy out side indian girl, ………

I am in no way blaming the victims but, … why didn’t these Indian girls get together and confront the situation? There is no excuse for the Resort not to have acted when the complains started coming in, and that is why the current overreaction. Osho has empowered his female followers more than any mystic in the history of mysticism and you guys better wake up to it. At the same time Osho is known in India as ‘the sex guru’ so don’t expect convent mores.

              • swami satyam dhyanraj says:

well i wonder who is bhole – looks very fishy all these comments from him slandering sam – i suppose the resort has to do something like this to try and make him look like a devil and justify what they have done

                • Bhole says:

No…sir I have nothinhg to do with resort….this is so stupid that for every thing you idiots blame resort…and what ever I am saying here about this sick Sam…I have enough proof…dhyanraj…pls use your innteligence if you have….

          • Lokesh says:

DR is right, there is something smelling fishy about this Bhole. I suspect Bhole is another of SCIFI, aka I am nobody’s many names. I heard through my secret lovers in the resort that he escaped from the locked ward there and was last seen in an internet cafe chanting bhole, bhole, bhole. My informants tell me he is an ex-lover of Sam and has never quite gotten over the shock of being dumped for an 18 year old chick from Moscow, who showed up at the ashram one day and asked Sam if he would help her discover her animal self. Of course Sam could not resist the temptation and coupled with hearing Osho’s voice in his head telling him to ‘be total’ who could? Not I. It is time to come clean Mister Bhole! The game is up!

      • Neel says:

Vedant, such a reply is out of place. Just read yourself what you are writing and decide who is the one hateful and arrogant. I wonder if you ever heard that one is always writing about his own experience. Your impression has nothing to do with Sam or anyone else. The disgust (that is hate), rotten and polished feeling, does not exist outside of you. It is inside.

        • bodhi vartan says:

Neel, I might have listened if you spelled my name right. Your post is nothing but a personal attack on me, and not a word on what I have said. I wasn’t talking about Sam, or to Sam, I was talking to the people who felt threatened by Sam (rightly or wrongly).

My feeling is that the truth is somewhere in between. Sam must have overextended himself and the Indian ladies felt unnecessarily disempowered. What’s your take?

          • Neel says:

Sorry if I made the comment on the wrong place. My responds was to Prem Vedant somewhere more up.
“He said: I have been watching this guy,84 years old, in OIMR for years and years…. most of the time
his behaviour is so polished and disgusting!! many times woman had complain about this rotten guy! ”
I can not make a statement about Sam, because I have no idea what happend. This are all rumors and it is not even clear that he was banned. But Sam could not shut his mouth and he had to make the Situation public. Now his return will certainly be more difficult, because the people in carge are forced to respond to a different situation. If he wants to go back, this was not a smart move.

            • swami satyam dhyanraj says:

yes OIF wants it that all osho’s people shut their mouths – and daily acts to shut them up on facebook and youtube using false trademark and copyright claims of ownership of osho to do the job
who gave them the right to shut us up ? certainly not osho who charged us with a responsibility to shout out when we see the community of osho threatened and abused and not to allow it with our silent complicity

        • Lokesh says:

Sam, is a very sweet man, who has been enlightened for many years and enjoys nothing more than to do Osho’s work, especially as far as attractive young women are concerned..

          • bodhi vartan says:

Sam should go to Mexico with Swami Rajneesh. I am sure Mexican lovies can look Indian-enough if he squints.

          • Jyoti says:

Sam, enlightened?, this ugly sexuallly pervert….My God, waht you are talking…if any girl will go to police, this old idiot will be behind the barrs and indian news midia will creat real problem for Osho…you guys are awar what you are tlikng…?

  3. shantam prem says:

Samvado is banned from Osho Resort for being too friendly…
The title sounds like to Ashram lover like me as if some old man was habitually following the young arrivals and trying to make small talk, similar like-
    From where you come from?
    Are you sannyasin?
    Is it your first visit?
    Can I have a cigarette.
would you like Ayurveda massage, I have room in the pyramids.
    You have very good energy!

    variations can be many!

  4. Tatina says:

    Beloved Sam
I feel with you. You are a special light, a special voice, you are wonderful the way you are.
But it seems there is no end to stupidity and repression.

  5. swami satyam dhyanraj says:

mm – it seems all who lived in our masters ashram have been thrown out one by one – i was shocked years ago when my friend and osho’s beloved sardarji was kicked out of his home there as it was inconvenient for the jayesh and amrito OIFs for an old man to be taking up space they could sell to another
and i was amazed and shocked to hear that ma mukta who bought the ashram lao tsu house for osho to live in and start the ashram had been pushed out of her home in the ashram and her room in lao tsu sold for a mllion pounds –
without her there would be no ashram or resort in poona today but that doesnt matter to the heartless and cruel control freaks who run the place now
really there have been many many cases like this in the last twenty years

i am sorry to hear samvado that you are the latest victim of the jayesh amrito gang to suffer at their hands at the old age of 84 – i hope you can recover your life – its not easy to start again when thrown out of your home at your age – what a totally heartless thing to do
amrito’s actions will catch up with him one day – he will find that he is thrown out in old age himself – as it is he has to get drunk every night to forget the crimes he is continually engaged in against his master’s people

    • Prem Vedant says:

..you are so blind Swami Dhyn raj..
it looks you are simply caught up by jealous and hatred…
have you know how much care had taken for Maa Mukta for years and years? I was one of her helper for few months, when I was there in the program. where you have got the news that she is thrown out ! ? she is in Austria and still taken care of by the same people!!

and this old dirty tricky rotten Sam!! it looks like you are also same kind of category as he is! go to Pune and ask anybody there, how nasty he is, and how disgusting his behaviour with women is!!

      • Lokesh says:

Could this be a simple case of someone misinterpreting what doing Osho’s work entails?

      • swami satyam dhyanraj says:

of course i am blind vedant – i dont accept OIF supporters versions of reality – i must be blind !

ma mukta is being taken care of by her boyfriend i heard – the same boyfriend who was banned from the resort when he was living there with mukta in lao tsu house – muktas house that she owned and bought so that osho could live there and start his buddhafield

and the reason for his banning ? – jayesh and amrito were putting pressure on mukta to sign a document signing ownership of laotsu house to them as owners of OIF –
mukta although being a frail and very old lady is a conscious woman who loves osho – and resisted their pressure – and instead signed ownership of lao tsu house to her boyfriend who she trusted more than OIF to keep it available in the future for osho’s people – after all – osho’s samadhi is there in the house
as her boyfriend was banned by this brutal power political play by OIF amrito and jayesh she had no support anymore to stay in her home and had to move to austria –

mukta has been a very good friend to me in the days when i worked with her as lao tsu gate guard and later on as gardener in lao tsu garden – she is one of osho’s enlightened disciples i feel – i dont take kindly to OIF harm to one who did so much to help osho share his vision with the world –
without her there would have been no osho ashram in poona for osho to live and do his valuable work with so many of us in the buddhafield he created there – and for this gang OIF to steal and make a resort business out of

  6. Lokesh says:

I’ve become friends with a homeless neo-Nazi Skin head. He is extremely violent. I think we should join together and give him a place to stay.

  7. alokjohn says:

    Women complained?

  8. christ krishna says:

who knows for what this is good ?
    So better accept and trust.

    Love

    krishna

  9. shantam prem says:

Through my friends at facebook, now I know who this Sam(samvado) is.
The story gives the impression as if brutal regime has kicked out an old and helpless man from the council flats. Sympathy wave is happening in the bleeding hearts!
For example, Lokesh, do you know a bit, who this Sam is?
If I speak from the known facts and the social behaviour of this gentleman, this eviction and banning was long over due.

    • Lokesh says:

Yes, Shantam, I don’t have a clue who Sam is. I was sharing a sentiment that goes out to all sannyasins. The secret is to share.
Of course I am not into supporting dirty old men. There are a few of those in the neighbourhood already. I find it distasteful when old blokes are still hankering after sex. Even if they get it I doubt they could rise to the occasion. Very sad to witness.

      • Shantam says:

I can only talk of my own experience with sam.whenever I met him in the resort he was surounded by many happy looking ladys who obviously enjoyed his company!
he was dancing and laughing and having a good time
sometimes I sat next to him at meal-times and had nice conversations, laughing and joking never any problems with him…sometimes he was wearing funny hats and different coloured shoes and I told him he is a colourful spot in the resort and I wonder how long he would be allowed to look so different ..

  10. BAUL says:

Before starting to blame anyone I would appreciate to hear more of Sam about any reasons given to him for relocating …..I cannot imagine anyone…

  11. sakchi says:

    Sad thing.
    Good luck, Samvado…

Too many things like this are happening lately.
    Too bad.
I am beginning to feel that I may never go to Pune again…
That something beautiful is lost for good.

  12. swami rajneesh says:

this is the true face of OIF management
that has simply lost its mental and spiritual balance
and has become blind with power…
    heartless…
    and ruthless…

perhaps the last nail in the OIF coffin…

our beloved sam has suffered 2 heart attacks
and still his heart beats totally for our master OSHO…
whenever we met in my house in poona his only concern was
the well being of the resort and the message of OSHO…
he even requested me personally many times to not expose the resort management so openly…
so that the resort does not loose visitors…

he intimately expressed his only last wish
was to be able to leave his body and die in the resort…
as it was his only life…

it has always brought tears to my eyes
and i have loved him ever since he uttered these words to me…
so i am also deeply moved and feel immensely for him now…

    sam…
remember you are always welcome to our commune anytime you wish…
    even naked…without any money…
and we will welcome you with open hearts and a celebration…
and value you as an enlightened being of light love…
those who carry the heart of our master
    is enlightenment enough for me…

and we should learn to treasure such beings
i cannot conceive of anyone ever being able to replace a person like samvado…so many years of absorbing OSHO…
cannot be simply replaced like a mechanical car part…

sam…welcome to the faaarout circle of misfits…anytime…

    • satyadeva says:

But how much do you actually know about the details of this case, Swami Rajneesh?

Of course, if you do know precisely what happened, if you have received your information from a 100% rock-solid, unimpeachable source, then your comment would be fair enough.

If, on the other hand, you don’t know the facts – and, judging from the conflicting statements on the case here, they are eminently disputable – then how come you’re making such a righteously condemnatory statement about it here?

Shouldn’t you wait until you’re sure of the facts before such an emotionalised – and arguably sentimentally biased – outpouring? Especially given that you and your people continually go on about how others are persecuting you by wilful misrepresentation?

      • Lokesh says:

SD, ‘how come you’re making such a righteously condemnatory statement about it here? ‘
Come on SD, you know why Swami Rajneesh is doing that, it suits his purposes. That is obvious.

      • swami rajneesh says:

        satyadeva
remember sam has paid 200,000 US$ donation for his room in the OSHO resort and has a right to live there

        the background :
i know directly from my insider in the resort

that OIF have been trying to remove sam for sometime
and looking for any excuse…that looked acceptable to remove him

        i was offering free OSHO mystic rose…no mind…born again….primal painting…primal dance…vipassana groups…free
swami advait ex resort worker and very close friend of sam
got inspired by my free OSHO group offerings…
and started offering free OSHO groups in goa and dharamsala and elsewhere…swami advait and myself have communicated few private messages

clearly from the facebook profile of sam…
there are many advertisements of swami advait offering OSHO groups free and many photos of advait and sam together in events and meetings
it is obvious that OIF was disturbed and unhappy that sam was very friendly with swami advait and also supporting advait free offerings

        business is business
and advait the thorn in offering OSHO mystic rose free…
        and sam the victim

the story – direct insiders news :
a canadian woman therapist got furiously jealous and enraged when she found sam and another girlfriend together in his room
in a fit of violent rage she attacked them both and threw a beer bottle at sam and tried to smash a glass on his head nearly killing sam…
this jealous manipulative woman then went on to threaten the OIF management with news media exposures against the resort

OIF gladly accepted the false version of the canadian woman…
as the management had finally found the perfect excuse !!!

        • satyadeva says:

Ok, Swami Rajneesh, thanks for this info.

However, there still remains the accusations against Sam of having been a ‘sex pest’ over there for a number of years. (Mind you, he surely wouldn’t be the only one in that particular environment, would he?!).

And both sides (ashram powers-that-be and yourself) have their own vested interest in propagating the ‘story’ that suits their respective agendas.

Who to trust, given the conflicting evidence?

And btw, what exactly do you mean by “whatever his sexual advances”? Are you saying he could do what he liked, because he was ‘such a nice man’?!

    • satyadeva says:

      Swami Rajneesh:
“…we will welcome you with open hearts and a celebration…
and value you as an enlightened being of light love…
those who carry the heart of our master
      is enlightenment enough for me…”

      SD:
And why not welcome him, indeed?

But I would also like you to clarify certain things at this point, please:

Why call him “an enlightened being of light love”? Has he reached such a great spiritual realisation? If not, aren’t you cheapening the term ‘enlightenment’?

And are you, Swami Rajneesh, claiming ‘full enlightenment’, that you, as stated by your chief spokesperson, Dhyan Raj, are a “living buddha”, Osho’s ‘natural successor’, second (after Osho himself) in a new “lineage” (which, as you’ve said, will be of at least 14 more like yourself – or was that just a joke?)?

Please don’t confuse the issue by giving some response like ‘I’m just a devotee’. That doesn’t really mean much – in a practical sense – to most people I know (especially the men), and, I suspect, to most western Osho people (especially the men).

A ‘devotee’ is one thing, someone who’s had a ‘realisation’ or two (or more) is another, a ‘fully enlightened’ “living buddha” is still another, isn’t it?

Please be precise and unambiguous, please don’t use confusingly obscure Indian terminology, if possible.

      • swami rajneesh says:

        a dissolved devotee…
        is in oneness…
        with the master…
where the devotee disappears and the master appears…
it is far higher state than mere enlightenment

        enlightenment is an individual experiencing
his enlightenment is his explosion and his oneness with existence…

the devotee surrenders his being to the master…
        and merges with the master…
this is transmission of the lamp…
        and certainly the greatest experience
and far deeper than individual enlightenment…

it is difficult to place into words…
but those who are open and sensitive will understand…
this mystical expression of someone who declares :

dissolved into your lotus feet o my beloved master OSHO

if you are wise and understanding…
open you heart and feel silently between these words…
feel what is being conveyed heart to heart…
        being to being…
        that which cannot be uttered…
        O alas…O alas…O alas…
        i wish…i could offer you…my heart…with tears…
        O alas…O alas…

        • satyadeva says:

          Swami Rajneesh:

          and certainly the greatest experience

Yet Osho was ‘individually enlightened’, was he not?

Does this imply you’re saying your state of being is ‘higher’, “far deeper” than his?

Are you proposing that those who come to you are to follow your particular devotional way?

Or are you open to “all paths, all ways of seeking” (as Osho declared himself)?

              SD:
I’m afraid that’s often the problem with an Eastern teacher, especially a devotee like yourself, Swami Rajneesh:

You might have plumbed extraordinary depths, of that I have no doubt, but you can let yourself down with words. If you’re speaking to a western audience then you need to speak unambiguously. For example, saying, about your type of ‘awakening’ process that it’s…

              “…certainly the greatest experience
and far deeper than individual enlightenment…”

…clearly implies the depths you’ve reached are greater than those reached – at least in the first instance – than your Master, Osho. Whether you like it or not, whether you mean it or not, this is what you’re saying here.

You tell me I’m “splitting hairs”, I say you have to be completely clear exactly what you mean when addressing the west, otherwise you’re asking for trouble – and then you might assume it’s their fault, not yours. Maybe you can get away with more ambiguity with the eastern world, but not so over here.

Similarly, your chief spokesperson, Dhyan Raj, claims he’s “found” at last. But has never actually explained exactly what he’s “found”. Unless he ‘comes clean’, he’s highly likely to be termed self-deluding and full of obfuscating bullshine.

And there’s yet more ambiguity in your approach to this ‘banning Sam’ issue, where you say, “Whatever his sexual advances”, he’s a wonderful old man – seemingly implying that exempts him from responsibility from anything ‘untoward’. With the ashram powers-that-be a convenient bunch of ‘demons’ upon whom to deflect the issue….

              • swami satyam dhyanraj says:

                what more do you want?
to speak further about private spiritual matters which cannot be spoken of only invites misunderstanding doesnt it ?

and rajneesh has told us all the true happening of a jealous lover of sam and her attack on him and false complaint against him to the management – the stories of an innocent young girl being ass grabbed are a fabrication – its easy to call someone a dirty old man isnt it – a good ruse to demonise and get rid of sam and punish him for being an independant sannyasin who follows his own heart instead of the dictat of a crooked resort management

          • bhakta says:

            Satyadeva:
“Please don’t confuse the issue by giving some response like ‘I’m just a devotee’. That doesn’t really mean much – in a practical sense – to most people I know (especially the men), and, I suspect, to most western Osho people (especially the men).”

Satyadeva, I am a western Osho person from Russia, and I am a man. And for me being a devotee really means much. That’s my name, that’s what it means, and I feel it from deep within. I simply love Osho and my heart is a heart of a woman. Devotion is simply a deep heart connection and trust with the Master, and it’s also courage and strength and fire of love. And more and more you immerse into it, the more Master can give you… It seems to me, most of sannyasins simply have never experienced devotion.

            • bhakta says:

Devotion is a relationship between a Mater and a disciple. It is love, but the highest form of love. When you become one with the Master, it is “…certainly the greatest experience
and far deeper than individual enlightenment…” To be one with the beloved is the search of every lover. This is what Rajneesh means by this words, from my understanding. I hope I put it pretty clear and straight.

And why should that be, do you think, Bhakta?

Everyone begins as a student, as an inquirer into what this life is all about, with a curiosity to know the mysteries that surround us……..
…………. This is the first initiation: the student dies, and the disciple is born.
The second initiation is when the disciple also disappears, into a devotee……….
………..The longest life is that of the student. In the middle is the disciple. And the life span of the devotee is very small. ………..
………………The path of a mystic begins as a student, ends as a master… begins as a dewdrop, ends as an ocean.

Harideva was “banned” by the administrators of the Poona commune.

Swami Harideva is an American Hindu teacher. He claims to be a former director of Zohar Institute in Tel Aviv, the Crisis Institute in Cologne Germany and Aaah Yes Institute in Fairfax California, though the existence of these institutions is unverified. At the Gyuto Monastery in Dalhousie, India [now Bhutan] Swami Harideva was the first Western student of Tara Tulku. In 1970 he studied with Neemkerali Baba, Gongka and Swami Satchadananda. The following year he met Acharya Rajneesh, later known as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh and then as “Osho”. One of the first Western disciples of Osho,[citation needed] he remained a disciple until the latter’s death in Poona, India in 1990.

In March 1971 Harideva introduced Rajneesh’s work to the West and opened three meditation “houses” in America. He also opened meditation and therapy centers in Paris, Moscow, Tel Aviv and Germany.

In 1988 he suggested the name “Osho” to Rajneesh while preparing “Friends of Osho” programmes. Subsequently Harideva was “banned” by the administrators of the Poona commune.

Swami Harideva died in the Haridwar, India foothills in March 2009. He had been on world tour giving talks on meditation, creativity and Osho’s legacy since July 2008 and was to return to San Francisco in July 2009. Gyuto monastery, his original monastery, interned his ashes in a public samadhi in Bhutan. His activities have been reported in the Rajneesh Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Viha News, Osho Times and the Times of India

  17. SCIFI says:

A few years after Osho left the body Jayesh and his ‘Inner circle’ started banning old close disciples of Osho from entering the Poona resort. Perhaps because of jealousy or perhaps out of fear that these older Sannaysnis had much more charisma than he or his underlings and therefore were a threat to his total control over all those coming into the resort to discover Osho and his magic, he increased these ‘bannings’ so that today clearly 90% of all of the most talented therapists, musicians, and meditation leaders who were the closest to Osho are no longer welcome at the Resort.

i saw sardarji a few times in the next years when he would occasionally come and visit for a day or two to the ashram – looking so sad – his famous laughter gone – heartbroken to have been banished so cruelly from his masters buddhafield
sardarji was one of the hearts of our ashram – broken by those who wished to remove the heart of osho and proclaim the anti osho business resort- the false coin replacing the real gold

    SHOCK DRAMA.

In a twist of fate worthy of an epic Roman Empire drama, a famous online Editor has been found producing excessive amounts of spirituality and alluring contrasting opinions, worthy of a Cecil B.De Mille religious-era film remake , complete with enormous sets, which were completely hashed up with hundreds of extras hired for the set pieces and set-to’s

Due to the internet’s excessive forms of spiritual insight which some experts have dubbed ‘SPIRITUAL PORN’ and SPIRITITILLATION one of the internet’s most regular bloggers has today confirmed ‘that he was invited to share a mundane piece of gossip as if it was of slight interest to anyone else’, for the producer.

One insider claimed these forms of spiritual insight were leading to Etna-like effusive displays of opinion, and the accompanying realistic earth tremors, likely to provoke mass hysteria or showers of invective and a rushing haste for all types of collusion..Resulting in excessive sooth saying signs combined with claims of realistic backdrops of yawning chasms of spiritual insight for our leading players to be on the edge of.

Some virtual bloggers have seen an increase in traffic recently, as there has been a slow and steady exodus of reliable information from the middle earth, to outlying muddy areas for added safety.

In a vain effort to stem the tide of bilge appearing at the margins of thought, a famous editor has called for realistic convincing insights to be acted out for the production. This has led to the current claims of Overt Spirituality, leaving some members of the audience literally fainting during the performances.
Some casualties have been reported in mass exoduses during the endless repeat performances.

How this story will unfold is anyone’s guess, although religions around the world are already claiming that hellish scenes like this have been repeated before with no long lasting ill-effects due to everyone’s all-round good intentions and almost biblical remakes of epic proportions.

      SD:
I agree many people (including me) have been and continue to be greatly helped by many therapies, in and of course out of sannyas, SCI FI. But whether that’s helped them escape “7 to 9 deadly n dangerous lives” is another matter, pure speculation, based on what exactly?!

What do you know of so-called ‘past and future’ lives anyway? Sweet fa (translation provided, if needed), I imagine…

Perhaps the most we can say is that one person truly clearing his/her inner space helps the whole human race as he/she won’t be leaving behind any ‘nasty stuff’ for the newly born to inherit as part of their own psyche (not my original idea, someone else’s)…

To be radically helped for just this one lifetime is plenty enough to be getting on with, surely?

But not all therapies, perhaps none, however radical, ‘cure’ everything and certainly not every participant walks away forever free of personal conflict. It’s ultimately a question of ongoing individual awareness and responsibility…

Swami Rajneesh rightly points this out, if I understand him correctly, although his negative attitude to therapy seems more an aversion to therapists having become too self-important and too important in others’ eyes, than a total distrust of all therapeutic methods.

The danger though for his approach, as I see it, is ‘throwing out the baby with the bath water’, ie downgrading therapy – absolutely necessary for many – to something of miniscule perceived value.

      • Lokesh says:

        ‘ based on what exactly?!’

      • Arpana says:

Given that Western meditators are faced with culturally unique forms of suffering, it follows that these particular types of suffering are best dealt with by the techniques of Western psychotherapy which have been developed within this culture to deal with the problems specific to this culture. Kornfield says:

Psychotherapy addresses in directed and powerful ways the need for healing, the reclamation and creation of a healthy sense of self, the dissolution of fears and compartments, and the search for a creative, loving, and full way to live in the world. (245)

Having established that Westerners undergo unique forms of suffering that psychotherapy has developed techniques to handle, Kornfield goes on to argue that meditation alone is not enough to heal many of the deep issues we uncover in the course of our meditation (245). Meditation alone is not enough. He makes the extraordinary claim that at least half the students at the annual three month retreat at the Insight Meditation Society cannot do traditional Insight Meditation, “because they encounter so much unresolved grief, fear, and wounding and unfinished developmental business from the past” (246). He follows up this revelation with a number of stories relating how specific students were blocked in their meditation but successfully resolved these blockages once they were able to identify traumatic events or unsatisfactory or even abusive relationships in their past. He also narrates stories of spectacular failure in spiritual practice when these issues were neglected. Indeed, much of Kornfield’s argument is based on case histories of meditational success and failure that all go to support his view of the limitations of traditional meditation without psychotherapy. While these stories are interesting and sometimes even instructional, the implications behind this view need to be teased out.

daily energetic cleansers for generating flow…
and creating the correct situation and environment…
preparing the ground for meditation…to happen

        meditativeness…
        is flowering…
        living the meditation…in each act…
allowing this flow of meditativeness to move your body
and each gesture filled with watchfulness and awareness…

therapists project OSHO groups and therapies as the ultimate…then we are misguiding the newcomers…
and also by charging huge fees creating the wrong impression that these are more valuable than OSHO core meditations…

this is my reason for fighting against therapists :
therapists are projecting false ideas that groups and therapies are the real path…

Basic Osho meditations are simply uncomparably better than any therapy, better in removing all emotional and mental rubbish. I’ve done a lot of therapy groups, I used to have an Osho center organising groups, participating and translating dosens of groups and at least 100 individual sessions. But I’ve been doing Dynamic 5 days a week for about 4 years, and it gave me infinitely more than all the therapies. Therapy helped me a little bit, I learned to imteract with people, to express myself better, to deal better with strong emotions. But Dynamic made me into what I am.

            • satyadeva says:

For you, Bhakta, but not necessarily for everyone else.

When I first came to Osho, after a few years of various therapies, I had a similar experience: at first, the active meditations, especially dynamic, were transformative, enough for me for about two and a half years, but there came a time when they weren’t enough, when in fact dynamic became virtually useless, more of a hindrance than a help.

Then I had to explore further….

Since quite some time he wasn’t attending the Evening Meeting.
Seems he spends quite some time in his two bedroom outside flat which he owns.

Some women seem to “play” with him, maybe also because of his age, but others do feel really harassed, independent from age.

  25. Sagar says:

Pity that there is banning. I have live and loved and done alsorts of things and it all part of the play. To ban or ask some to take a holiday shows nothing about Sam and says a lot about those that cannot have space for what offends them. Anyone who was in Poona 1 and 2 knows life is filled with mystery and drama and all leads back to mediation and love. And to ban loves of Osho seem strange to think even that there is no Samadhi in the Osho commune, is all so unloving to the bhakis of Osho lovers. I for one loved sitting in the Samadhi in silence and love and light of the Master.

    • satyadeva says:

That may well be, Sagar, but you fail to take into account the extremely negative public attitude these days towards perceived ‘sexual harrassment’, ‘inappropriate behaviour’ etc. Women taking offence could easily take the offending person to court, with all sorts of adverse publicity. Would that be acceptable to you?

Typical irresponsible male sannyasin attitude, btw, to label it “all part of the play”…Perhaps it’s an example of ‘sexual chickens coming home to roost’ (rather a choice phrase, eh?!) – finally – bearing in mind all sorts of questionable goings-on in and out of the Poona ashram over the years.

Try putting yourself in a ‘victim’s shoes: if you were a contemporary woman, perhaps you too wouldn’t want to, er, ‘take this sort of thing lying down’…?

I was looking at this website and was reading this blog about Sam and i must say that the level of communication amongst the fellow travellers is not how i remember friends of Osho used to share their love and feeling of oneness with eachother. I have been for about four years living and working in the Osho Commune in the 90s and have such sweet memories about this period in my life…also about this guy Sam leading meditations in Buddhahall.. It feels sad to hear that a man who is so deeply devoted to his master is banned..84 years old..still running after young girls harassing newcomers for some tantric massage..i hope i have still that energy at 84..i would also like to hear the full story and the dirty (old man) details..anyway why being so agressive in the comments..it is so easy to throw garbage on eachother from behind your computer.
Love to you all out there.

whatever his sexual advances…he is a gentle being
and very humorous loving towards women…playful and soft…
and also equally friendly with men and all who meet him…

if sexual harassment is the excuse of OIF management to ban him…
then the list of excessive sexual harassment cases
against OIF management inner circle amrito and yogendra are well known
and even registered police cases of attempted rape and forceful violence against young girls in the resort
let these cases also be exposed for all to see what legacy of our master
they are protecting and sharing…to the innocent newcomers…

should amrito and yogendra also not be banned ??

    • satyadeva says:

Swami Rajneesh, you know the man, I don’t, so you speak from personal experience, fair enough.
Yet perhaps if you were a woman you might think and feel differently? And the ‘climate’ is different these days, women are far more awake to possible harrassment than in past decades.

As for Osho’s “legacy” in such matters, well, surely you’re not as naive as you sound? If you truly don’t know, let me tell you that it was far from ‘innocent fun’ for all back in the day. I know of several women who felt disrespected, ‘threatened’, pressured into sex by predatory men (eg “If you don’t agree, you’re too uptight, you’re ‘blocked, Ma!”, “Call yourself a sannyasin?!”, and so on…both in (esp by well-known characters, allegedly ‘close to Osho’) and outside the ashram. It was simply par for the course.

Some “legacy”, eh? You wouldn’t be attempting to ‘whitewash’ it now, would you, by any strange chance? Can’t think why….

Pity, there were no internet, when Sardar Gurudyal Singh was asked to pack his stuff and go.
To treat a person, whose name was spoken hundreds of times by the master that too just months ago before leaving the body, in a shallow way would have created some kind of protest.
There was no internet, when Neelam was shown the red card- The Ma who really worked in the team spirit and was with Osho from the early days, when Osho was too far away being an export quality master. Thousands of Indians left but she stayed till her expulsion.

With Sam, there is a little earth quake in a cup of tea..
And i never thought, at the time of distress, sannyasnews will be the medium for breaking news…

he was very saddened and told me that he was asked to leave
as he was becoming a burden on the ashram…
that the ashram was not a retirement home for the old…
that OSHO was always asking people to leave and find their own way
in the world and create balance between zorba and buddha…
      material and spiritual
and this was the way for sardarji according to the management team…
to find his material freedom for his spiritual growth !!!

twist and wrap OSHO message…how convenient !!!
a 80 year old who devoted his entire life…and expressed his heart though his rebellious laughter and ever glowing smile…

this is a matter of shame and humiliation for the sannyas world
where we speak of compassion and love and act like butchers…
      and heartless business exploiters

  33. swami rajneesh says:

we should objectively / subjectively view the very act of banning :

    OSHO resort projecting itself :
as the leading transforming therapist center in the world

    offering experienced leading therapist
trained in vast diverse cutting edge
    modern transformative therapies…
combined with the wisdom and compassion
of the greatest enlightened master OSHO

    banning is reacting authoritatively
using a old primitive barbaric cave age punishment
    a childish emotional threat…subjective blackmail tools…

banning is a mean to punish through fear
and abuse of power over others…
an ugly means to control by use of force threat and blackmail
and send a clear signal for others to fear…authority…

this is the act of compassion of OSHO ??
OIF declaration of transforming individuals who are willing visit the resort
to pay huge sums to join groups and therapies is a total farce…

even any declaration of enlightenment or spiritual experience of fellow travellers is instantly banned by this group of control freaks and dictators…

if they are spreading OSHO vision…then i have to say…kiss my a**

Sam being banned from Poona is simply a shame to all Osho movement. I’ve been banned, and so are many of my friends. It’s not a big deal for me to be banned from this night club, that Poona ashram became. But to see Sam being banned, Sam, which is a living legend of sannyas world, Sam, which has been always opened and friendly with thousands of people, Sam, which has spent decades in the buddhafield of Osho… It is so disgusting! I heard Sam saying, that his only wish is to live his last years and die inside the ashram. And to ban him… Would you kick out your grandfather from you house? Now I know, if I see Amrito and Jayesh ever in my life, I will spit in their faces. Not for myself, but for Sam.

  35. bhakta says:

My mother Sahaba told me first about Sam, she met him in Poona. She told me about his life and how he met Osho… what a beautiful person, she said. He is really a living legend for many people, especially for those like me, who never met Osho in the body. Many sannyasins in Russia told me: “Oh, Sam, of course we know Sam, everybody knows him.”
We are with you, Sam, we will be happy to see you in Ozen Cocom in Mexico. We cannot loose such a people!

Sadly sorry to say without any offence but you might would end up to pay even for your death there.
Perhaps you did not see that is a Resort now are you aware of this change?

So why to pay for resort?
Why to go all the way in India in a Resort they got plenty of Resort in the west.
You are not the only one to be banned from the Resort there have been many not welcomed there and treated with no respect and banned from the Mafia specially if you not have moneys they treat you like shit!

It shows that they do not really care of peoples there is no Love no feelings there is no Osho to experience there they only there wanting money.

And I guess, I haven’t been around, but even if he grabbed somebody’s butt or whatever he did, the person is 84 years old, like, do you think he is capable of much more than that? Sure there are many young blocks who are far more dangerous.

“There is no God there are no gods.We are free to pursue our destiny.”,Ma ji was thundering in her weekend seminar about spirituality.
“What about Jayesh? Is he or is he not?, asked one participant.
Ma ji replied, ” I don’t answer political, personal and irrelevant questions.”

    • salvatore says:

      Shantam Prem,
You are so wrong! Swami Rajneesh is on a gurutrip. He lets people call him Master he is giving sannyas with his picture, he is living-off Osho his legacy to have his moment of fame. One who is claiming to have been given the astral body of Osho is insane. Don,t you see that he is trying to destroy everything what Osho stood up for in short THE INDIVIDUAL. He is just a carbon copy as Osho Always liked to refer to Parrots like swami Rajnish.

      • swami satyam dhyanraj says:

ooh dear salvatore – rajneesh is destroying “the individual” is he ? how come in three years with rajneesh i never noticed ? rajneesh has shown every respect to my and others individuality thats why –
ha ha ha ha ha – osho referred to rajneesh alright – strangely he didnt call him a parrot as you say but rather “the model sannyasin” of our ashram who we could all learn from how to be sannyasins
but who cares what osho said eh ? “the individual” is master now – as long as he kowtows to OIF ha ha ha

        • salvatore says:

Dhyanraj maybe you can ask swami Rajneesh if you can takeover his astralbody before he gets another heartattack. His astral body is second hand but maybe it will fit you well! If swami Rajneesh had balls he would stand on his own ground and tell you have some proof that Osho changed his name in Rajneesh and called him a model example for all sannyasins?

          • swami satyam dhyanraj says:

yes – salvatore – i was there n the ashram on those days when messages were sent from osho about rajneeshs name and about him being the model sannyasin of the ashram
my witness evidence or that of the hundreds of sannyasins who were also there is likely to be the best proof you can get – unless you have a time machine handy of course and can step back to hear for yourself

  42. Parmartha says:

Just to correct one impression picked up here in London by some younger sannyasins.
In terms of the current debate, in Pune one when Osho was alive they are claiming that no-one was “banned’ from the ashram. Actually that is not true.
The Pune one guards used to have a list of people banned from coming in. Mainly those seen as having mental health problems or troublemakers who were not interested in meditation, but who knows, that was simply what we were told at the time.
On the whole though as I remember it, there was an “open” hearted and open minded approach as I observed and experienced it, and Osho himself seemed open to all newcomers without discrimination.
Does anyone else know about the guard’s list in Pune one ?

    • Lokesh says:

PM enquires, ‘Does anyone else know about the guard’s list in Pune one ?`¡
Yes, it wasn’t exactly top secret. If someone got out of hand Sant and the bouncers weren’t above giving an offender a hiding. I think the saddest case I can recall was a famous ventriliquist, who showed up in the late seventies. At first he was a celeb until he flipped out. The bouncers gave him a serious beating for making a nuisance of himself. He used to hang out in ‘the fields’ at night and keep everyone awake by throwing his voice all over the place. I remember at the time feeling that the poor chap had been very badly treated. He was exceptionally talented. At one point he invited everyone to his money stash and $100,000 dollars disappeared in under a minute.
Gurus often attract an element of the lunatic fringe. Even here on SN there is plenty of evidence of that. Somehow it goes with the territory.

    • swami rajneesh says:

the latest news from the resort :

the files / photos / secret banned list of sannyasins
on the main server of the OSHO resort computer
got so overloaded that their computer burnt and crashed !!!

they sent their hard drive to experts who say…
the files have been corrupted and to complicated to restore…

dr amrito he is now placed under deep hypnosis
to recall and memorize names and faces….so beware of amrito !!!

  43. Parmartha says:

Whatever the truth about Samvado he should have been offered some of his capital back before being ejected from the ashram to help him re-settle in the world, and some support mechanisms offered for an 84 year old man.
It could have been done over a week period, a bit like when someone of that age is discharged from hospital and other institutions in the UK, with some social support/district nurse network offered and visiting from social services, etc. I have often felt that is a very “civilised” part of UK (NHS) care provision for the elderly, which apparently is totally absent in the USA, unless you have substantial financial resources.

  44. shantam prem says:

    Parmartha,
Half of my work in the ashram, i have done as main gate guard, tour guide and at the reception.
Banning people was part of the life. There is no free lunch and every insitution has an unwritten sign board, ” Rights of admission are reserved.”
Even Rajneesh, if and when his commune grows has to follow this law. Now think about some of his commune members grop the ass of some Maxican girl, and image is captured on the mobile, what will happen?
So first of all, if by chance, Sam accepts his invitation and lands there, his hands need to be tied!

What is out of the way in Pune is that Jayesh is treated as un official successor, Almost like past life son who came on the right to help dad to expand his firm.
So most of the people are banned or like me live in self imposed exile, because they don’t agree with his style of working. And results are clear, the main seat of most rebellious master is like a shopping mall with big show windows but empty shelves.

  45. prem martyn says:

The main problem as I see it as a full time devotee,is , that some people here are actually reading other people’s posts.

There are guidelines for reading things on the internet.
    1)
Allow others to conveniently mistake you for someone who actually reads or care’s about anyone else’s opinion. It works everytime. It’s how the internet works.By virtual imagination.

The second one is to write your own reality at length.

Third, buy SN’s ear puppets, they are selling-out fast.

Have a butler, or maggior d’uomo, read you the selected edited articles.

Your comment being evidence of that…never happy unless on the attack. DR, you are very easy to figure out and continue to battle imaginary enemies in order to give your life substance. If you were content and at peace with yourself you would not have to perform such actions. I’d be surprised to hear that you were in a loving relationship with a women, or a man for that matter. Osho toldme to tell you: Things are simple.
Well i dont understand this but in this case is simple, is about greed, about jelous, about control and about sex.
Is not about ideology, ohhh oif is a capitalist institution
or Samv is a dirty comunist.
is envy: Samvado must be a very good lover, at 84 and girls want be hammered by him, is not like teen ager hammering a girl, is like a tantra master hammering the soul.
And this of course dont like to people who cant doit, people who must use viagra jijiji. People who likes control their girlfriend (oh noooo, this old men hammering my girlfriend… she prefer his penis than my artificial dildo) or people that feels is loosing control of the ashram( if this guy stills here my girldfirend will compare me to him and i will need more and more viagra.
So the the sings are simple.

              • Anando Purutama says:

                There are two exit doors:
                1 is the Experience Curve
                2 Collaboration Curve
The main problem with the Experience curve is the diminishing returns curve ( the more experience accumulated in specific industry, the longer it took to get the next increment of performance improvement)
Experience leads to more stability = calm effect
(more nature industry became, more difficult for new entrants to come into).
Collaboration curve other game: “the more participants–and interactions between those participants–you add to a carefully designed and nurtured environment, the more the rate of performance improvement goes up.”

In fact Lokesh (and some others) are doing SN a favour by playing devil’s advocate and giving something to talk about. I just wish I knew what you guys looked like. Seeing Dhyanraj’s pic the other day scared the pants off me, but also helped me to understand where he is coming from. He still thinks it’s the ‘60s, which is fine … not.

I was reading Osho saying that there are different keys for different cultures but as we are all getting on the net and creating the universal mind none of the individual culture keys would work. I don’t know what happens next as I haven’t finished the book yet.

Bodhi: Entaglement system: State 0| state 1 . P (S0|S1) then we are talking about probabilistics, and this are not a deterministic path. extrapolation even in metaphorically way may conduce us on wrong hypothesis. (Quantum Mechanics is inherently probabilistic. If we prepare two elementary particles in identical states and measure them, the results maybe different for each particle). But remember that if we measure this particles we disturbs its state.
Every consciousness is consciousness about something, but what is this we call Something? Dr Amist Giswami has and interesting Hypothesis: Consciousness of a sentient being collapses the quantum wave function and choose from a superposition of a possibilities with the brain – mind awareness, and this awareness is just the pattern field of the experience of the witness. He uses an analogy of the double slit experiment and experience field to make a bridge between. But remember this is just the probability of a K state, and we can make a simple framework of this with Qubits (basic quantum blocks).
Lokesh: The key is the process, you choose which use to play for: Collaboration Curve or Experience Curve. Two different fields.

They have been exploiting worldwide sannaysins in the name of Osho , meditation , zen etc etc….
In pune Resort Management often bribes police and politicians , so they can easily survive to do their business ..
.Once in a while management throw even private party for local press and media personals to keep them under control .., but when it comes down to reach out to Osho’s lovers and sannyasins worldwide , resort management does not do anything ..
They do not care opinions , feelings , emotions of millions of sannyasins worldwide …
That is why you can see more and more condemnation towards OIF … Team jayesh has shown their middle finger towards large number of sannyasins worldwide.. Such leaders needs to be replaced or removed as soon as possible.

Yet Dhyan Raj, chief spokesperson for Swami Rajneesh, avowed enemy of the ‘Osho Establishment’, has himself demonstrated similar disrespect for “sannyasins worldwide”, choosing to label them “ignorant tossers”, on this very day, at this very place (4.15 pm, under the ‘Silence’ thread).

You couldn’t really make it up, could you, eh?!

i hardly think calling you and your mates ignorant tossers ranks with the banning of hundreds of sannyasins from our ashram and the false claims to own osho that closes down sannyasins websites and facebook accounts every day
but satyadeva makes up his own version of reality – and to be an ignorant tosser hurts him more than the crimes against the sannyas movement of osho by OIF – thats why he is an ignorant tosser !!

and another thing satyadeva – you say about “Dhyan Raj, chief spokesperson for Swami Rajneesh”

On the one hand, you’re a sworn enemy of OIF, the powers-that-be running the Poona ashram and all they stand for, presumably because you think that best serves the interests of ‘Osho’s work’, ie on behalf of his sannyasins, present and future.

While on the other, you choose to denigrate, to gratuitously insult his actual friends and lovers, all existing sannyasins, calling them “ignorant tossers”!

Do you really expect these people to take you seriously?

At that statement, the jeweler went to his special stock and brought
another ring over. “Here’s a stunning ring at only $40,000,” he said.

The young lady’s eyes sparkled and her whole body trembled with
excitement. The old man seeing this said, “We’ll take it.”The jeweler asked how payment would be made and the old sannyasin stated, “By
check. I know you need to make sure my check clears so I’ll write it now, and
you can call the bank on Monday morning to verify the funds and I’ll pick
the ring up on Monday afternoon,” he said..

On Monday morning, the jeweler ‘phoned the old man and said “Sir, there’s

i know rajneesh has many many friends in the resort who have been hiding their feelings towards him in fear of being thrown out of their homes by the jayesh/amrito power political fanatic leaders of the “no osho master cult”

its well known that my old friend dhyanesh for example has always been a personal friend of rajneesh and hates amrito and was trying to protect him against amrito’s vindictivess – and everyone knows swami amit, osho and shailendras younger brother and his girlfriend kushi are also good friends of rajneesh since old days and went regularly to his home in poona for dinner
manou is also privately very open to rajneesh although his partner zareen is rajneesh’s enemy – and devendra is also a friend of rajneesh who has received gifts from rajneesh in the past and used to come for dinner and to chase ma soma at rajneehs home – and how about ma darshan – and bhadra ma of sanai is also in love with rajneesh – they must be living in fear of their security there eh as they have called it the enforcement resort and amrito is the enforcer

and i know there are many more in the resort who would secretly love to see the power game of jayesh and amrito ended and rajneesh there to open the door for all, to remove the bans on old sannyasins, bring the gate passes down, books and food at cost price, bring meditation camps, festivals and celebrations, and bring a new fire to the ashram making a revival of the ashram spirit

              • satyadeva says:

Very good, interesting, even ‘entertaining’, Dhyan Raj, but I wouldn’t necessarily believe all you say either. Simply because you’re biased, you see, you have a considerable vested interest in a particular viewpoint and would always tend to seize upon and possibly exaggerate anything that might support your agenda, as, I expect, would Swami Rajneesh. When such strong feelings are involved you don’t often get the whole truth, just a version of it.

On the other hand, I’m no supporter of either the ashram powers-that-be or of Rajneesh, I’m genuinely a disinterested party. Thus for me, your obvious anger is like water off a duck’s back.

So I’m not about to trust anyone who’s involved up to their neck at this point, or I’d be just a rather gullible fool, wouldn’t I?

As I’ve said before, rather like a fundamentalist sort of priest…And it’s no secret how much anger they’re coming from…

Perhaps you’re just so far ‘up yourself’ (and Swami R) that you’re simply unconscious of all this….

  56. Anand Newman says:

Swami Rajneesh, I really want you to open your heart and listen what I am trying to convey. I have seen your cocom website. Its absolutely amazing. But the thing is anyone who is working on such a project ( as the founder and creator) will not have time to write in this forum. Lets be honest. This forum will any way run. There are people who can live and die like four pillars to this forum ( they know who they are !!!!) and they can run it whether anyone else participates or not. They are several people here who have insider friends in Pune resort who can check the story behind the 84 year old friend’s issue. Why to duplicate and waste your time.

With your talent you can do whole lot to Osho’s vision. But the key is you need to get out of the cuckoo. The current heads of even the most ancient Aghora / Naga baba sects are wearing normal attire and trying to mingle around so that normal public can benefit from their message and teachings. Its not just about attire, its your mind set that need to break open and go beyond this small Osho sannyasins drama. because Osho has much larger vision and care for the entire earth. May be this is the moment for you to kill your master and move on. I know you know what is a killing a master means. When a Buddha says ” kill me ” to the disciple there is all together a different meaning.

The moment you go beyond, you can do wonders. No fucking pune or OFI will come after you or neither you go after those poor guys some how trying to keep up their master’s work in their own way. That’s the beauty of Osho. He has many clans who wants to keep up his vision. And thank God for that. I repeat that’s the beauty of Osho.

SO far you definitely used the legacy of Osho. But how long, now fly on your own and carry the fragrance of your master to far away lands . That’s when you can really reach all together a new world of unknown. And the world of unknown is many many times bigger than the known ( osho sannyas world). Remember that. That where you use your Lions roar. Otherwise, its the same mind drama to fight against other Osho clan. Its like child starts crying when someone try to snatch away the candy. And tell people its lions roar.

You become the candy so no one can snatch it away buddy.

In one of your previous posts, you were mocking at me “should I wear suite and tie”. No. you are a fashion designer, so you wear the whole rainbow on you. Become the ambassador of love and awareness, be abundant, reach out beyond the boundaries, races, be the new man. Welcome to new man club man. You have lot of talent, use that wisely not stupidly. Common how long, unless you want to remain like that.

Just put it in black and white with any one coming after you. Yes, I am a Osho disciple and I will be his disciple but now I am on my journey. I don’t poke you and you don’t poke me. Lets be friends , no more fight.

Then you will see the real colors of the people around you. I don’t know , may be there are people who are with you because they enjoy the fight. People are so unconscious that sometimes they think they are doing great service. When there is a fight they immediately take sides as if they are doing great benefit. Just tell them that there is no more fight with anyone. I am doing the best possible creative work of my beloved master. I am sure few people will immediately leave you because they loose what they want.

But if you yourself wants this fight to continue then I cannot say anything.. But I do hope you are not that kind. I see so much talent, creativity, commitment, intelligence, beauty and positive energy. But there is somewhere something negative creating hindrances. See hat that is. Its definitely not OFI.

  60. Jeevan Ullas says:

Very long comment thread with so much to go through. Here are my 2 cents…

If, Rajneesh is enlightened or not, is his business. No one has right to judge him until they have reached too. At least that’s the guideline I used for myself when in a fb discussion he said ‘yes’ to my question that he has reached. I can only see so far…Certainly the few pointers from Osho which got stuck with me tells me not to judge. And this one came from a talk he gave on Mahavira about soul being a curtain and all the lies and dirty stuff mind makes you do as the creaters of the holes in that curtain. It seems life lasts for ever but I see something on the horizon coming dancing towards me which is called ‘death’, and when it reaches me, I know any lie or worldly pleasure is not going to be with me but only me intact there will help me see through it… I don’t want to miss that opportunity and if someone does, then it’s their choice.

As far as Sam’s issue. I see two sides and it seems people take it like it’s someone’s birthright to be in the buddhafield if they were there for a certain number of years. That doesn’t sound right to me. Criteria should be if the person was making that place beautiful (including self) then the person should stay. At the same time if that person is creating ugliness (if grabbing ass and other stories are true) then they must go. In my experience, I saw many of the old farts (sanyasins) were going the same way in 90s. Finding young girls and using (abusing actually) them. People who came in love for Osho were so vulnerable that they didn’t see they were getting abused and surrendered blindfold to this abuse. Sure, age doesn’t matter but if I am 60, I will like someone who is more ripe than a teenager to be with rather going with the greed of mind to have a partner way younger than me always. I had one incident in which one beautiful (not just outside but… )russian girl wanted to be with me but she was not forthcoming because of one such old fart. She tried to invite me to play some hide and seek game which I was not interested in…

As far as Osho’s guidance, everyone must go out and not stick to the thrown forever which includes current management too. The place has become a dry desert…last I went there was 2004 and my heart doesn’t want to go there anymore even though at earlier times I felt that this will be the place I will die. Osho’s vision, which was like an ocean, has become like a pond in the hands of current policies of only meditation but no love or devotion, which stinks now. Musicians were the life of the place…banning them merely for the reason that they performed at a certain place sounds ridiculous and gives me reason to believe that there are lots of unaware, unloving, lost beings there in the management and it’s a good idea to make my place my own ashram for myself rather going to the resort.

    • alokjohn says:

Re : musicians and some therapists being banned (if this is true!)

IMHO….. The place is for spiritual growth alone. My guess is some of the above were more interested in their careers, and there came a point when the management could see this, and thus “banned them.”

ah – satyadeva reveals himself – far from being the disinterested neutral observer he pretends – he thinks alok johns excuse for the resort is showing exceptional intellect – of course satyadeva – excuse the resorts banning of musicians – you must be one one their apologists and supporters too – or how you would know why the musicians were banned – “the actual reason”?

Your temperature rises so easily, so quickly, DR – and invariably you misunderstand (could the two be connected? one wonders)…

I actually said that Alok John is an exceptional intellect (having gained a first-class degree at Oxford). Therefore he might just have something valuable to contribute here…

And I don’t know why the musicians were banned, although AJ’s suggestion shouldn’t necessarily be dismissed out of hand.

Your emotional semi-frenzy leads you to assume all sorts of utter nonsense, including that I’m an ‘apologist and supporter’ of the Resort authorities (and therefore, by definition – according to you lot – some species of ‘evil enemy’!).

What a fool you make of yourself by believing in what your silly emotions tell you.

        Not true,
At least the cases I know were not true. One of my closest friend, who would be one of the last person to go there to seek career business was thrown out for no reason. So, there can be some cases where people wanted to take advantage of situation but that is not the whole truth. Many were thrown out of no reason…
