I recently read two articles by the Austrian (belonging to the Austrian school of economics, not the country) economist Murray N. Rothbard about libertarianism and Lao Tzu. His contention, which I think is right, is that Lao Tzu was a libertarian. The links to the two articles are posted below: http://mises.org/daily/1967…[Read more]

Listening to the American congressman Ron Paul, an intuitive insight occured to me that he is an enlightened master.
What do you all think?

The more laws and restrictions there are,
The poorer people become.
The sharper mens weapons, The more trouble in the land.
The more ingenious and clever men are,
The more strange things happen.
The more rules and regulations,

Shahriar, even with a long stretch of my elastic imagination I could not describe the article on America’s particular brand of fascism fascinating. There is nothing in the article that surprises me or that I did not know about, although perhaps presented in a different form. One only needs to look at Iraq to see [...]

I recently read a fascinating article about American fascism at the Ludwig von Mises Institute. I thought that the article was well-written and something which osho sannyasins and Osho himself would agree with.
The article was written by a libertarian.

Shahriar, you’re deluding yourself by trying to force Osho into a neat category, or even a combination of neat categories, eg philosopher/psychologist/’prophet’/ political theorist/social commentator/revolutionary etc. etc He could and did play many roles, but, as Lokesh pointed out to you, his fundamental teaching was his extraordinary presence,…[Read more]

Well, Shahriar, for a start you are deluding yourself if you think that I care about you delating one of my comments. What you don’t understand is that telling a sannyasin you believe in something is going against the basic sannyas concept that belief and doubt are two aspects of the same coin. Osho repeated [...]

Satya deva, Shahriar is i think around 20 and seems to be a vivid Osho reader. When Osho is almost not a fashion craze any more in the deep pockets of west, i appreciate the efforts and thirst of our young fellow travelor.

Do you enjoy humour, by any chance, Shahriar?
If so, who are your favourite comedians?
Or film/tv comedies? -
