trying to answer my own question here..i looked at all the groups i posted in and each says public group..so one would create a public or private group is that the idea?

this might not be the place to write the question..but..i posted in 4 groups not really knowing the diff between groups and forum threads..by posting in a group you are joining a group?so that means anyone can post in your group without first joining?
