According to Devageet, Osho’s personal dentist (in a 1998 preface to ‘Books I Have Loved’), Osho dictated three books under the influence of nitrous oxide from the dental chair. They were “Glimpses of a Golden Childhood”, Notes of a Madman” and “Books I have Loved”. In the 1985 edition of these books Devageet says they [...]

Kavita you write: “l wonder whether these sannyasins / disciples you mentioned above . . shall ever in their life time be able to work with the same intensity as & when he was in his body .” I am not sure what you mean here, do you mean those disciples that were in Osho’s [...]

I think that the books which Osho has published under the influence of Nitrous Oxide are some of his best, especially his two books Glimpses of a Golden Childhood and Books I have Loved. It has been a while since I read his book Notes of a Madman so I can’t say anything about that [...]

Thanks for your posts Lokesh. Parmartha here. The question of whether the gaseous stuff was part of Osho’s private life (and where it should remain), has been brought up by critics of mine, when I wrote about this issue some years before. However, ironically enough Sheela and her cohorts strongly opposed the publication of those [...]

To be honest, Kavita. I would not suggest to you that you should try LSD. Something tells me that is something you should definitely stay away from. Apart from that, good LSD is not see easy to find these days and if one does happen upon it I sugget it be treated with the utmost [...]

Garimo, possibly it is like this… Egypt may well have free elections. There are 80 million Egyptians. Most are poor. They could easily vote for an Islamic state, or semi-Islamic state. Peace treaty with Israel torn up. Increased threat to israel. So lets conquer Libya, adjacent to Egypt, stick a few military bases there to [...]

Interesting link, Kavita. Makes me think of all the prosperity consciousness ideas floating around on the sannyasin scene when Poona One folded. Suddenly I was back in materialistic Europe after ten years in India and facing the harsh realities of the world without money. I started visualizing a tap, open and pouring lots of money [...]

Shantam, I checked the link. Colour co-ordinated costumes indeed. Only in India could such people gather a following. They look like circus clowns and I’ve no doubt that is what they are. Utterly ridiculous. Made me shake my head and say, ‘unbelievable’.

It will be a privelge for me to be on an American, French or British carrier off the coast of Libya, as this is one of the most justified war of our time. As it is all a wishful thinking, why not think oneself as Commander in chief rather than a spectator in chief, as [...]

Shantam, are you by any chance on an American aircraft carrier off the coast of Libya?

In the morning by chance i came across the photos of Osho dhara people at facebook. This organisation is supposedly run by not one or two but three enlightend people.. If Lokesh think, people who take Rajneesh seriously should check with shrink, i am curious what he thinks after seeing these three people, sorry three [...]

If having guru is a sure way to be free from the chains of life and death, India´s population should be less than many other countries.
Most probably, souls are thrown back in the big ghetto called India. -

In the name of Punja ji, people who are giving some kind of Andrew Cohan thing in the west, none of them i think is a sannyasin. And as far as i have seen, most of the sannyasins of Pune 2 phase who went to Punja ji or others have to pass through immense empty [...]

I used to be as poor as a church mouse before I took sannyas. Then when I laid my eyes upon Osho I realized what being rich really meant, both spiritually and materially. Eventually – thanks to all the Ma’s and their unrelenting (cough) patience with me, I found the secret of being rich. Its all inside – honest – inner richness attracts outer…[Read more]
