@VF.
There are those who believe that the management of the ashram in Poona are responsible for how the sannyas world is these days, how the ashram works; but it seems pretty obvious to me that in actual fact the sannyas world is as it is because Bhagwan as he was called, decided we should stop wearing the Mala and red; and despite that happening, for a long time afterwards we collectively, broadly speaking, continued to function in the same way as we had when we wore the Mala and red clothes; and then he began the name changing process and settled on the name Osho, which further eroded what I find it useful to refer to as the Mala and red clothes sannyas of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh; and the plain clothes Sannyas of Osho began to manifest, which is possibly in a similar stage of development as was Buddhism in the west in the early to mid 70s, and certainly more widespread; and there is not much left of the Mala and red clothes sannyas of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh.
I see that many Indian sannyasins are wearing maroon a lot.
Yes that’s part of the point.
I couldn’t be doing with calling attention to myself in that way. \⍩⃝/
I guess they are just wearing those robes when they are in their centres and ashrams.
The Master can still interact with us, using any of his names, and that relationship does subordinate all the others
