Hi guys, meaning Sannyas people.
I have been interested in Bhagwan Sri Rajneesh for years. Unfortunately I was not able to join his ashram in Pune, India or the ranch in Oregon.
I never managed to see Bhagwan in person and I really wished I had seen him.
I have been meditating for a number of years and would love to hear from you guys more about him. I listen to his discourses, but you know intimate personal little stories are so lovely.
Also, I would like to know if Bhagwan ever met or talked about Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
Kind Regards

Bhagwan shree Rajneesh was a ’high-flying’man.
He was also a ’bald-headed one’, with a white robe and a large head and twinkling eyes.
Many sannyasins were transformed by Bhagwan’s light and energy.
Reccomended reading: ’Wot the Bhagwan Done’ by Swamishanti, an easy read publication with full colour photos that documents Bhagwan’s life from a young man, to a fully seasoned master.
I have read about one occasion where Bhagwan met the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who was the Beatles master, in the 60’s, when their paths crossed.
This incident can be found in the book ’Tales of Ten Thousand Buddhas’ by one of Bhagwan’s early diciples Ma Dharm Jyoti
Swami Shanti is right. Glaston 55. I would go so far as to say that if you read Wot the Bhagan Done you might find the fullfilment of your spiritual quest and then be able to relax in the comfort of your home and watch movies like Scarface and Apocalypse Her and Now. Om. His blessings.
Hi Sannyas guys,
I know that there are different types of meditations that Osho taught. Obviously you have been practicing these for some time now. has any of you practiced TM (Trancendental meditation)? It would be interesting to compare TM with some of Osho’s meditations. I only have experience of TM but none with Osho meditaions.
Would love to hear from some of you guys who are familiar with both.
Thanks again and have a great day.
I am assuming you guys are from all over the world, or mainly Pune Ashram?
Hi Glaston55,
(by the way have you ever travelled to Glastonbury Festival?)
I found this interesting link of a meeting between Acharya Rajneesh and the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and the interesting spiritual conversation there:
Hi Swamishanti,
Thanks for the link, greatly appreciated. The meeting here was between Osho and the followers of Maharishi, NOT Maharishi himself. I know there was a meeting between Maharishi and Swami Muktanada which I have seen, I am not really interested in Swami Muktananda. Just wondering if Osho and Maharishi ever met and talked? Would have been absolutely fantastic to them together.
As regards Glastonbury Festival? No, I have never been to this festival. I know , I know, I have no idea why I chose the username glaston55.
Have a nice day
