There is a common agreement between seekers of different paths that it is very difficult to understand the meaning of Enlightened master´s words and gestures. In the same way, all most all have the notions they are not one of those who misunderstand the master. Is it not hilarious?

Lokesh, I doubt Osho meant that someone seriously ill should not take government sickness benefits which after all we in the UK all contribute to by taxation.

Shantam, your agenda is primarily a political one, and as Osho used to say, politicians are stupid people. He was, of course, right.

Again Lokesh proves my hypothesis that The disciples who spoke peronally with Osho, most were not worthy of that man’s attention. There are hundreds of such instances in Osho’s life and many other master’s life that they were let down by their hand picked disciples and it also shows..how so ever great a master is..he [...]

Few people are color blind. They see some color and think only those colors exist in the world. On the one side so called spiritual seekers go on repeating that we are all unique and different yet part of the same cosmos, but on the other side, they are unable to think beyond their little [...]

There are people on the path, who buy their daily food from small obscure kiosks on the way, if someone tells them to buy something from a chain store, they feel offended because more customers and more inventory in the store make them dizzy. Lokesh is one such seeker. Yogananda, Gurdieff, Punjaji…Littel kioks holders! Yes..few [...]

I was not part of rajneeshpuram. on 13 October 1983, first time i came in contact with Osho through His books. So there was no chance for me to invest my life energy into Puram which i did at Osho Pune. But onething i have felt just now, if my investment was betrayed by Sheela, [...]

Alok john, about your professionalism i have no doubt. Through our writigs we are revealing much of our behaviour and temprament. For example i am quite a lay back person, but give me a case against monarchy and other power centers, say managers in Pune; who turned a health research institution into a dispensary, i [...]

I must say I agree with Parmartha’s posts, for once! Prob one of the reasons why the gang got such light sentences was there was a deal for them to tell all in the hope it would implicate Osho. If you read some of the documents at oregonlive you get a much better feeling for [...]

I was the therapy toilets cleaner for some months and I saw a lot of shit during that time. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, I wonder, is this all just a dream.

  • I think it’s okay to say “I dont know” in any circumstances, but are people here saying this? Many seem to be saying I know. ‘Dont know’ is actually my bottom line on this subject. I just want those who feel Osho subscribed to criminal activity to test it against the evidence that there is, [...]

Alokjohn, your statement, ‘He was working on them as well. ‘ comes across as totally naive…like those people who think the ranch was a device cooked up by Osho for their awakening. I loved Osho and my time with him but am under no illusions that the old man could get up to all sorts [...]

I actually find it totally credible that Sheela did all that she did out of her ‘love for Bhagwan’.

Alok John, below is a paragraph from Sheela’s interview from your ref. of Oreganion news website. Can the disciples swallow her points or will try their best to cover it with blanket? Who were the people to write such prescriptions, what was their interst and motives. I don’t think that the prescription was written by [...]

Alok john, when you have studied law? Have you researched your quotation? In any social set up, blame goes till the top management, so much so in any strategical failure on the lowest range fall out, can trap the highest ranking boss till President and Prime Minister. Problem with the collective mind set is always [...]

Under criminal law knowing about someone’s crimes is often not a crime itself.

  • alokjohn posted on the forum topic The Problem with Sheela in the group Group logo of The Rajneeshpuram EnigmaThe Rajneeshpuram Enigma: 13 years ago

Lokesh, one thing people forget is that Osho regarded Sheela and all gang members as disciples. He was working on them as well. If you read some of the documents at http://www.oregonlive.com/rajneesh

the relationship with Sheela is much more complex than a CEO choosing an employee.

Although I’ve contributed here, I think Lokesh is right ‘flogging a dead Buddha’, sums it up. This group is called ‘The Rajeeshpuram Enigma’, and an enigma this period is likely to remain. Anyone that really knows anything is very unlikely to speak and even if they did, would they be believed. The investment a lot [...]

I think it will be of great value to discuss Parmartha’s immense fascination with the long dead and almost forgotten chapter of Sannyas life, i.e. Rajneeshpuram. Here Parmartha can take some initiative as it can heal the supressed wounds of many innocent seekers who invested their time, money and more imporatnt trust and love into [...]
