@lokesh Hi! I’m trying to post a comment on the ’Summer in Orange’ review of yours, but can’t for whatever reason. I think your ’the script is reasonably well researched with some flaws’ is a tad condescending: The film is autobiographic. The screenwriter herself, Ursula Gruber (Lilli in the film), grew up in an Osho commune in a small village in Bavaria (Hohenschäftlarn) with her little brother (Georg Gruber, a film producer today, Fabi in the movie).
As to that other commenter who said there was no chance of ever seeing the film outside of Germany: I didn’t see it in Germany. It also plays on several non-German airlines.
Thing is, it is commercial cinema and appealing to a mass market in this case means presenting a movie that is accessable to your average Hans and Gretel.. It is not exactly cutting edge art house cinema. I enjoyed it for what it was but the film’s content is rather shallow, so I don’t feel I was condescending but rather reporting objectively.
