I do apologize, Mr Satyadeva, but the reply button has mysteriously dissapeared on the main page of the religous forum so I will reply to you here.
I’m very happy that your’e still showing a keen interest in the activities of your local Jehovah’s Witnesses and yes, I am sure that there is a Kingdom Hall in Cambden Town,or nearby.
I’m sorry to hear that you live near so many unruly youngsters who have been tempted to look for pleasure in life in all of the wrong ways- drink, drugs, ’hanging out’- and even unlicensed sexual intercourse.
What these youths really need is proper guidance in the direction of Jehovah.
Indeed I hear that part of the philosophy of Osho is to endeavour to ’be a witness.”
I expect that the Bhagwan had learn’t this phrase from the Bible, but I’m afraid that his teaching simply doesn’t present people with the real ideal of becoming a witness of Jehovah.
”You are my witnesses”, declares Jehovah, ’yes,my servant whom I have chosen.” (Isaiah 43:10).
What a privilege it is to bear the name of Jehovah, for He is the ”King of Eternity”, who says: ”This is my name forever, and this is how I am to be remembered from generation to generation!” (Timothy 1:17;Exodus 3:15).
You ask whether all of Osho’s followers are heading towards ’eternal death’- no I don’t think so.
Us Witnesses don’t believe in ’eternal hell’ like other branches of christians.
We believe that when you die, that is it.
However I do believe that some of Osho’s followers may survive the Armageddon and become ressurected again, if they move in the right direction.
And you ask about the number of 144,000.
This number actually refers to the number of survivors of the Armageddon who will rule in Heaven alongside Christ the King, these are a special few who have already been chosen by the jurisdiction of Jehovah.
There is still space on the Earth, which will become a Paradise Earth after the Armageddon, where we will be granted eternal life!
So rest assured, Mr Satyadeva, there is still time to serve Jehovah and reach the Paradise Earth that Jesus has promised.
And please remember to share this Good News with your friends.
You also ask about Cliff Richard.
From what I remember of his music he had quite a hard rock style, yes I believe that he has become a christian but he is not a Witness-one of his songs is about ’Christmas Time, Mistletoe and Wine’- and us Witnesses don’t celebrate christmas as we believe that Jesus was not born at this time of year and ’christmas’ was in fact modelled after a pagan festival by the Romans.
Lets hope the reply ends up on the main page.
