I hope when German Bakery is allowed to open again, it must be ensured that it has x nos. of CCTv Cameras in its compound.
Without doubt German Bakery was one of the softest target for the terror creators. I cannot imagine any other place in Maharashtra where so many young Indians on their first job and westners for their crash course on spirituality sit hip to hip in a congested atmoshphare.
One really wonders why the owners who have milked hell of the money from this gheto kind of shop did nothing about the preventive security other than one guard taking care of dogs, beggers and moter bikes.

yes chetna, gb is not in the same league as oberoi mumbai or taj hotel,for sure.
maybe the guy was supposed to do the chabad house or the resort,but he bottled it and did the gb out of desperation.

Our friend went to meet Nadia that day and believe it or not could not find her (she must have been late or went to the loo), so he left German Bakery. In a few minutes an explosion! He heard it as he was walking….and ran back to see the tragedy…

Life is a mystery, everyone has their own timing…

What is not clear for me why German Bakery? First of all it is not a RESTAURANT but hardly a cafe for weird people. In the even it is full of prostitutes and drug dealers. It cannot be a tourist place, common.

I am very sorry about what happened in Pune, in the German Bakery. It is a shame. Does somebody knows about the Indian Swami Amano (Rajendra Kalokhe). He used to be in German Bakery,when I was in Pune in 2005 and before.
