It’s not fair that you ignored Lokesh’s question. It might be idea to use a different word than ‘self’. I have no idea about what part of the anatomy you are referring to.

You know better for your self; each is having enough Self of his own. The question still is what we do with it!? You either know, that rational or scientific explanatory misses. Osho talks in his Upanishad Discourses about self realizing, I found Discourse 4, 5 and 6 very interesting.

Christmas Poem
*************

Evening swim
in empty, heated village pool,
300 village souls not swimming tonight.

Walking back with Cathar girl
through Alpine village moonlit night,
snow
twinkley lights
adorning windows,
frosted trees and 18th century spired-church .

Bells gently tinkle
Silent Night
tunes on the hour
through each day
on its shimmering campanile.

I then wondered
what I should write here
which would be
momentously endearing
to this season’s
audience
of SnOwSHOes News….

Worship to me, becomes “real” worship not before one realized the true self. Worship in it is moving the mechanics of the true self through Love, either moving us beyond Body. Thus worship is the highest Yoga if practiced within the Self, the real Labour.
