When i read this last sentence in an article about sustaining a brand, immediately my thought went to Osho. How successfully He created His brand of spirituality, the master-disicple bonding. Disciples did not feel hesitant to share what ever they had with the ashram because every disciple felt part of its creation.
What happened later?
I will find some article, how successful brands die an untimely death!

Below is the latest information about Pune through the eyes of a western sannyasin on a facebook page, ” Save Osho Pune and Samadhi”.
I’m here in pune and see nobody around in december is kind of sad. Fortunately I have not come for the resort. If there is anything possible to make to get this place alive again I will be happy to participate.

very simple, there is no life in KP as sannyasins are concerned. I hardly saw any robe around. Passed thru the resort lane and had a peek inside, 3 robes there…..

The way you have stated this paragraph, looks like as if it was discussed by the secretary of state dealing with classified information.
I see it as a jouvenile way of putting the things.

Just read an article about the resort. Here is its conclussion. ‘I look around me. Although it is the fag end of summer, off-season in India for most westerners, the white marble walkways are studded with maroon robes. People saunter along, teacup in hand, or sit on the walkways watching the world go by. One Japanese girl is looking meditatively into a small lotus pond named after Jiddu Krishnamurti. Another young girl is dancing exuberantly while watering the walkway near Buddha Hall. A man is inquiring tenderly after the sprained ankle of one of the sannyasins. There are good vibes in the air. People seem happy and at peace here, a place where they can recharge their batteries and explore a spiritual possibility or two. Spiritual spa or otherwise, it’s serving a useful purpose and who’s to quarrel with that?’
Sounds good to me. Shantam, perhaps you are barking up the wrong baniyan tree. The place seems to be getting along fine without you.

A joke …? If you try and release a wild unpredictable joke here on SN, there is a danger that it’ll fly back innuendo and sit perched on your shoulder making a mess. Having said that I know for a fact that all Greeks are thieves, liars and confidence tricksters. …Well about class and the resort…one should not try to have relationships outside, above or below one’s educational stature and intellectual station.From my own experience, ambitious bits of skirt tend to hide behind borrowed aspirational spiritual language and hide in its formulaic graces their plebean intents and survivalist manners.This they have done from time immemorial.They look the part but scratch below the surface and you’ll find they are aching to make something of themselves. ..after a certain age the engaging youthful permissiveness palls and one begins the road of greater discernment….one’s class and culture and one’s own learning make for a real meeting of unique conversation between individuals .. and no amount of inspirational borrowed communitarian guff can bridge those gaps….The Indian accent for example could not possibly convince anyone of the tonal shifts needed for engaging emotively highlighted conversations beyond fixing the plumbing. The Australians just whinge on and on in a high nasal whinge of interrogatives. The American has vast access to superlatives without ever being credible.The British accent destroys any item of sensuality as soon as it attempts to convince anyone that it loves anything; poetical possibly,comically satirical at best but Romantic .. the English male or female voice ranks with the Swiss as being linked to the speaking clock.

It takes more than a red robe to change all that.
