I recently read two articles by the Austrian (belonging to the Austrian school of economics, not the country) economist Murray N. Rothbard about libertarianism and Lao Tzu. His contention, which I think is right, is that Lao Tzu was a libertarian. The links to the two articles are posted below: http://mises.org/daily/1967…[Read more]

Listening to the American congressman Ron Paul, an intuitive insight occured to me that he is an enlightened master.
What do you all think?

I recently read a fascinating article about American fascism at the Ludwig von Mises Institute. I thought that the article was well-written and something which osho sannyasins and Osho himself would agree with.
The article was written by a libertarian.
This is the link to the…[Read more]

While I think lady gaga is a superficial and mediocre person whose music is crap, negative attention is better than no attention at all.

Osho did not wish himself into their company, he was in their company because he was of their caliber.

It has not always been a fundamentalist christian country and while it is slowly becoming one due to the influence of the religious right I think there is still time to change the trend.
I am a hawk but I will have you know that Krishna was also a hawk.

I watch Real Time with Bill Maher. Saturday Night Live is also a funny show although I don’t watch it regularly.

Lokesh,
You say that Shantam is in Germany to receive social security handouts.
I do not know about Shantam’s particular case but many immigrants who come to the west do not come there for social security handouts and welfare checks but to make a better life for themselves and their familites as productive, independent people.

Shantam, I don’t buy the conspiracy theories about Osho’s stay in America so I don’t think that the commune was destroyed by the American government. As far as America being a christian fundamentalist country, it is moving in that direction with the rise of the religious right; but the solution is not to withdraw and [...]

Thanks Shantam,
By the way, do you know of or have you read the works of the Austrian economist Friedrich Hayek?
I think you should check it out and tell me what you think.

Quote from Lokesh, “Personally, I don’t give a shit what you believe in, or what you don’t believe in. That is kids stuff.”
I deleted this from your previous post. This is not polite.

Heraclitus says, “The hidden harmony Is better than the obvious. Opposition brings concord. Out of discord Comes the fairest harmony. It is in changing That things find repose. People do not understand How that which is at variance with itself, Agrees with itself. There is a harmony in the bending back, As in the case [...]

It is true that we will have no place to live without an environment, but the focus of environmentalism is not on man and his environment but nature absent man. If man’s environment is the standard then man’s environment has never been better in the history of mankind and industrialization, nuclear and carbon-based energy and [...]

The people in the countries you mentioned Lokesh are, by and large, savages so I am not surprised that they would not understand what I have said.
They would also not understand Osho, Ayn Rand, Ludwig von Mises, Friedrich Hayek or Wilhelm Reich.

When I said the grace of God, that was a figure of speech. This doesn’t mean I believe in God, I don’t. I am an atheist.

What you are saying is, with all due respect, nonsense. A person’s race does not determine how they speak about Osho.

Revelation is not something to which a how can be given Lokesh, otherwise it would not be called revelation, it would be called logic. How? I don’t know; I would say by the grace of God (figure of speech) I have come to know that Ayn Rand is an enlightened master or perhaps Ayn Rand [...]
