I don’t know whether you are racist or not shantam but racism is the sign of a very inferior mind and person.
Only the worst elements within humanity express racism, not the best.

I think that the better world which Osho talked about when he uttered the statement, “this very body the Buddha and this very earth the lotus paradise” can be achieved through the ideas of such men and women as Ayn Rand, Friedrich Hayek, Ludwig Von Mises, Wilhelm Reich and Osho.

You should know that the standard of living that man enjoys today is because of capitalists and productive businessmen. The freedoms that man enjoys today are a result of the achievements of political philosophers and politicans such as the Founding Fathers. Abraham Lincoln who fought to end slavery was a politician. Mahatma Gandhi who established [...]

Lokesh, it seems that you have gotten your information from the far left. You have not acquired your information from the same place that I have received my information. I have received my information from people associated with Ayn Rand (Of course I have also received my information from Osho but that has nothing to [...]

Lokesh, Saddam Hussein was a gangster who gassed his own people, America had every moral right to go after him.
Now I don’t think that he was a threat to America.
I think that instead of attacking Iraq and Afghanistan America should have attacked Iran and Saudi Arabia.

I can’t say that there is anyone alive who I think is mystically enlightened, at least no one of the caliber of Ayn Rand and Osho.
Intellectual study should not be denigrated Shantam. It is ideas after all which create a better world.

While he may not have been very interested in politics (I disagree), he did take political positions in his talks.

After reading the works of Ayn Rand, I have come to the conclusion that she is mystically enlightened. In fact, a revelation happened to me from the Spirit which illuminated me to this secret. She is an enlightened master who is keeping her mystical experience a secret in accordance with the dictum, “that which cannot [...]

Osho gained notoriety in his lifetime as a result of the multitude of controversial and outrageous things that he said and did. Osho, while rejecting the socialism of the day, rejected it on the grounds that it was not “true socialism”. He also spoke in praise of communism in his later career (see Zen Fire, [...]

Osho in my view has always been and will always be a secular mystical/religious philosopher (A secular religious philosopher? I wouldn’t have believed it myself until I saw it with my own eyes.) so it doesn’t surprise me that the people in Pune would dissolve certain “religious” practices that went on while Osho was alive. [...]

This idea that Amerian culture is a culture of aggression and warfare is a very anti-american view. America has never used it’s military for conquest but only in self-defense. America’s contributions to humanity and it’s achievements are immense, from it’s capitalism, to it’s scientific achievements to it’s moral and spiritual achievments such as…[Read more]

She is not having a seismic impact, but more of an impact than Osho. I read Osho on the net Shantam. Lokesh when you say no such thing exists do you mean no such thing as American culture exists? If so, then I disagree. Americans have a culture, and a great one at that. This [...]

While a certain group of sannyasins have committed crimes, they do not reflect Osho’s teachings nor his philosophy. After all, this is the man whom the Dalai Lama considers an enlightened master. Also, given that Osho is a leftist I think that American Universities which are generally dominated by the left would open their arms [...]

When I said emulate Osho, I was talking about his career as a teacher spreading forward-thinking ideas by giving talks all around India.
I was suggesting that Osho sannyasins become teachers and spread Osho’s ideas by giving lectures at various universities in America, similar to what Ayn Rand’s disciples are doing.

I’m not sure what you mean by that last part about authoritarianism lokesh. Based on my understanding Osho emphasized independence and thinking for yourself in his discourses.
As far as Osho’s views on prayer, he has made may statements regarding prayer in his philosophy allowing different people to emphasize difference aspects.
