Shantam, you are always complaining and, as Osho once told me, that is a sure sign of an egoist.
Thanks in part to you some of the best commentators have left this blog and your contributions are not exactly groudbreaking. Instead of complaining why not try and write something inspirational or at least thought-provoking? -

Health services in India have taken leaps and bounds, so much so that it is emerging as one of the destination for Health tourism. I think every improvement happens when there is zest for life in people and equally imaginative leadership at the top. In Sannyas world, both these things are missing. Here every leave [...]

Did I ever tell you about the time I was infected with typhoid in Ruby Hall Clinic? It is a great way to loose weight quickly.

Alok John, when ever someone really falls sick in Osho Pune, not cancer or TB just cough, cold and high fever, the first step is to go to “Inlaks and Budhrani Hospital” on the other side of the ashram(resort) road. It seems resort is taking this multi speciality hospital as granted. May be that is the [...]

Hallo, the faithful ones at sannyasnews, I think when we write, “Osho emphasises” in any context,say..Medicine,meditation, management, education, old people etc, it should become crusade and not just parroting Mantra for His people. World at large owes nothing, really nothing to bother what Osho has emphasised. But it seems faithful ones want every…[Read more]

Just returned from the gym and i am careful with what I eat. I believe in taking preventative measures in regards to my health. I looked in my crystal ball and it says that if you become really ill all those ideas about illness being psychosomatic will go out the window (which does not mean [...]

They have a group in Pune called “Remembering the forgotten language of the body” or similar. The idea is you can often cure illnesses with the application of a great deal of awareness. From my experience this is true but you really have to work at it. Devageet once said to me “Existence sends you [...]

On the surface this all sounds fine, but scrape the paint a little and there is a glaring inconsistancy: Osho was plagued by ill health. What about his ‘dis-ease’? I recently viewed some photographs of sannyasins being sniffed before darshan with Osho. It was as if he became allergic to people. I can remember in [...]

If you look around at the offerings in the newsstands, kiosks and bookshops, or visit any of the major Internet portals, you can see that “Health” and health-related issues are very high priority in almost every culture in the world. Western cultures especially seem obsessed with health, and the costs of healthcare are soaring to [...]

It’s a tricky business. We lost quite a number of posters who wrote well and made sense over the last 2 years or so because of what was called by them verbal abuse and unboundaried annonymous behaviour. So it is a difficult balance this thing called “moderating” the site. Also there is the problem of [...]

Sufi was cast in to a seventh hell (seven, get it?) called Osho World. Bubbie is communicating with me via FB and is saying Hail Marys. Hopefully he returns here soon along with Martyn, to spice things up a bit.

A random, unpredictable and unavoidable (for poor old Pramada) event. Such is this existence.
That’s why you never see a poor bookmaker, for example….

Martyn is not banned, just is not posting at the moment. Bubbie is sin-binned for two weeks and we will ask him to to avoid verbal abuse henceforth.

I liked Bubbie and Martyn. With the new system the person who starts a group can ban them in one group or delete a single post. I thought Martyn had a lot to say if you read between the lines. If they are banned I think they should be unbanned. The editor has a thing [...]

I’ve met some members of the inner circle and they seemed like ordinary enough looking people to me. Last wish of the master? I’m not so up on that but whatever the case may be the times are always changing and to try and fix something as permanent in a world in flux would seem [...]
