Dear Lokesh,
Please excuse me for replying to you here on the caravanserai, but unfortunatley the reply button to your comment seems to have dissapeared on the main page, so I will have to reply to your comment here.
I am thrilled that you have some knowledge of the Holy Scriptures and that you have even spent some of your time with Witnesses in your home.
i wonder whether you know of the Biblical story of Paul, Lokesh, who started off with the name of `Saul`.
The Biblical record introduces Saul,or Paul, an Israelite of `
the tribe of Benjamin, as the ”young man” at whose feet the false witnesses who stoned Christ`s disciple Stephen laid their outer garments( Acts 6:13,7:58).
Paul approved of the murder of Stephen and, because of a misdirected zeal for tradition, began a campaign of vicious persecution against Christ`s followers.
When they were to be executed, he voted against them.
He extended his persecution to cities other than Jerusalem and even procured written authorization from the high priest to search out disciples of Christ as far as Damascus, Syria, and to bind them and bring them to Jerusalem, probably for trial by the Sanhedrin ( Acts 8:1)
As Paul neared Damascus, Jesus Christ revealed Himself to Paul in a flashing light and commissioned him to be an attendant and a Witness of the things he had seen and would yet see.
Whereas those with Paul also fell to the ground because of this manifestation and heard the sound of someone speaking,
Paul alone understood the words and was blinded, and was led by hand to Damascus ( Acts 9:3-8 )
Then, while praying in the house of a certain Judas at Damascus, Paul, in a vision, saw Christ`s disciple Aranius come in and restore his sight.
When the vision became reality, Paul was baptized, and recieved the Holy Spirit.(Acts 9:9-19).
After his conversion, Paul started a new life and began to preach in Damascus and Arabia.
So, we can see from the Biblical story of Paul, even an unbeliever can have a blinding vision and become Jehovah`s helper.
And I know that you are on the right path to becoming Jehovah`s helper, Lokesh.
Your`e already making the right steps by kindly taking the Witnesses into your`e home, and offering them tea.
Your`e showing keen interest in the Holy Scriptures.
Just keep inviting that kind couple in, Lokesh, they are exactly the right influence for you right now.
Sam
