it is as you say,a magic trick….
but once someone shows how a magic trick is done,in fact, that a trick is indeed being done,the idea that the trick is “real” is damaged forever…..
osho,like penn and teller in the world of stage magic, himself deconstructed many of his own tricks,that is ,stated overtly that they were just tricks “devices.” to an end.
however, once it is shown that “devices” have been used against (or for) the unwary,the game begins fall apart.

it is as if the donkey would stop running and see
“actually,this carrot is being held by a guy riding on my back,my running is not making it come any closer.when i stop,people will laugh at him……”

so the magic show becomes a comedy….
