Chudo, as I see it, there is no evolution of human consciousness taking place. In general, people today are no more aware about themselves than they were five thousand years ago. In some instances, say in comparison to ancient Greek culture, I would go so far as to say human consciousness has degenerated.

There exists potential for development of consciousness on an individual level and that is about the extent of it.

Observing thoughts is relatively easy in relation to the movement of emotions, because they move very quickly…a flash of anger. One can imagine oneself to be so cool and then someone cuts you off in traffic and you turn into an angry monster etc.

Yes, Madhu, how easily a person can have their buttons pushed; a clear indication of one’s mechanical nature. Some have big invisible keys inserted in their backs. Wind ‘em up and let ‘em go, babe.

This is doubtless a result of him being fast asleep. He would not wonder about such a thing were he the slightest bit awake.

Why masters wish to awaken people is that it releases them from the power of the unconscious. Conscious people do not begin wars or exploit their fellow man; they are much too busy being awake to bother with such negative activity, the kind of activity that rules the world today.

When two professionally successful meditators start fighting, it is an impossible task to mediate between them.
I sometimes wonder, why spiritual masters have condemned so-called sleeping humanity.
Sleepy people or animals don´t fight, they don´t piss to mark their territories.

The family feud between two main cults around Osho is a living testimony, “All that glitters is not gold.”

PS: I can offer my loving service to bring giants on the discussion table, but I know they won´t accept this offer. I am not a qualified therapist!

What meditation technique are the litigants using?
Have they considered doing some therapy? Apparently, one of them might be a victim or will be when they finally lose.
If someone suggested them to laugh a bit more would it not be taken seriously?
Does the future of the ice caps depend on the result of the court case?
Are most or all of the litigants vegetarian and against endless suffering of fellow creatures?
Are any of the litigants anally retentive or fully unrepressed?
Have they considered going for a drink at SN’s favourite pub – ‘The Inn in the Air’?
