You seem to need a few things explained:

When you come online, to pretty well any open forum, you have to be prepared for feedback, including criticism, otherwise don’t bother. This most certainly applies to Sannyas News, as you now realise, although you appear to reject the value of critical feedback in itself, appearing to believe that it’s intrinsically worthless, inappropriate for sannyasins, therefore necessarily ‘wrong’.

Well, if that’s what you think then you’re deluded, as very likely all that belief amounts to is another slice of elitist Indian socio-religious conditioning, where those like yourself are ‘beyond’ challenge, ‘beyond’ criticism, ie you’re ‘special’. After all, you’ve spent years listening to and reading your master, years meditating…And you’ve had “glimpses”…

Let me assure you, things are very different in the West. If you don’t like it then you’ve come to the wrong place, as what’s simply par for the course here is that everything is up for debate and everyone is liable to be questioned, challenged, even ridiculed, including spiritual paths, masters and their followers, friends and disciples – even their “glimpses”, if claimed and/or presented foolishly.

At its best, it can resemble a sort of ‘fire’ where, hopefully, what’s pretentious, naively foolish, over-blown, ie false, is cast out and what’s real and of value can emerge. Something like a reflection of an inner meditative approach, even (well, something along such lines anyway!).

Carry on how you’ve been and you’ll get the same treatment or be simply ignored as another well-meaning bore.

If the slightest online criticism disturbs you so much that you can barely cope adequately with it then what good are your “glimpses” anyway? And how, I wonder, would you respond to similar ‘button-pressing’ in ‘real life’?

As I said, better to contain your excitement – and your reactivity – otherwise you’ll simply dig a hole for yourself, as you’re doing right now.
